Abstract
【解決手段】マクロポーラスアクリル樹脂の製造方法であって、(a)(i)水、(ii)アクリル酸C1〜C4アルキル、(iii)架橋剤、(iv)有機溶媒及び(v)重合開始剤を一緒にして、反応混合物を形成する工程、(b)有機小滴の安定な分散物を形成し、そして前記小滴を反応させて、樹脂を形成する工程、(c)前記有機溶媒の50%よりも多くを除去することなく、酸又は塩基を添加する工程並びに(d)加熱して、この樹脂のエステル基を加水分解する工程を含む方法。

Claims (10)
- マクロポーラスアクリル樹脂の製造方法であって:
(a)(i)水、(ii)アクリル酸C1〜C4アルキル、(iii)架橋剤、(iv)有機溶媒及び(v)重合開始剤を一緒にして、反応混合物を形成する工程;
(b)有機小滴の安定な分散物を形成し、そして前記小滴を反応させて樹脂を形成する工程;
(c)前記有機溶媒の50%よりも多くを除去することなく、酸又は塩基を添加する工程;並びに
(d)加熱して、当該樹脂のエステル基を加水分解する工程;
を含む方法。 - 酸又は塩基が無機水酸化物であり、かつ有機溶媒が、C7〜C10炭化水素、C3〜C10ハロゲン化炭化水素、C4〜C10ケトン、C4〜C10アルコール、C4〜C10アルキルエステル、C4〜C10アリールエステル、C4〜C10混合アルキル/アリールエステル及びこれらの組み合わせの中から選択される、請求項1記載の方法。
- マクロポーラスアクリル樹脂の製造方法であって:
(a)(i)水、(ii)アクリル酸C1〜C4アルキル、アクリロニトリル及びメタクリル酸の中から選択された、少なくとも1種のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー、(iii)架橋剤、並びに(iv)重合開始剤を一緒にして、反応混合物を形成する工程;
(b)有機小滴の安定な分散物を形成し、そして前記小滴を反応させて樹脂を形成する工程;
(c)前記水溶液の50%よりも多くを除去することなく、酸又は塩基を添加する工程;並びに
(d)加熱して、当該樹脂のエステル又はニトリル基を加水分解する工程;
を含む方法。 - 少なくとも1種のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマーが、少なくとも1種のアクリル酸C1〜C4アルキルであり、かつ反応混合物中に有機溶媒をさらに含む、請求項3記載の方法。
- 前記水溶液の50%よりも多くを除去することなく、樹脂のエステル基の加水分解の間に、有機溶媒の少なくとも50%を蒸留することをさらに含み;かつ酸又は塩基が無機水酸化物であり、かつ有機溶媒が、C7〜C10炭化水素、C3〜C10ハロゲン化炭化水素、C4〜C10ケトン、C4〜C10アルコール、C4〜C10アルキルエステル、C4〜C10アリールエステル、C4〜C10混合アルキル/アリールエステル及びこれらの組み合わせの中から選択される、請求項4記載の方法。
- マクロポーラスコア−シェルアクリル樹脂ビーズの製造方法であって:
(a)(i)水、(ii)アクリル酸C1〜C4アルキル、(iii)架橋剤、(iv)疎水性有機溶媒、及び(v)重合開始剤を一緒にする工程;
(b)有機小滴の安定な分散物を形成し、そして前記小滴を反応させて樹脂を形成する工程;
(c)前記水溶液の50%よりも多くを除去することなく、酸又は塩基を添加する工程;並びに
(d)加熱して、当該樹脂のエステル基を加水分解する工程;
を含む方法。 - 前記水溶液の50%よりも多くを除去することなく、有機溶媒の少なくとも50%を蒸留することをさらに含む、請求項6記載の方法。
- 樹脂のエステル基の加水分解の間に、溶媒が蒸留され、かつ疎水性溶媒が、C7〜C10炭化水素、C3〜C10ハロゲン化炭化水素、C4〜C10ケトン及びこれらの組み合わせの中から選択される、請求項7記載の方法。
- カルボン酸基を有するマクロポーラスコア−シェル樹脂ビーズであって;当該ビーズが、シェル領域によって取り囲まれているコア領域を含み;当該ビーズが、架橋剤から誘導されたモノマー残基を3%〜100%、少なくとも1.5nmの平均細孔直径、及び10μm〜900μmの平均粒子サイズを有しており;ビーズ中のカルボン酸基の少なくとも90%がシェル領域に存在し、かつシェル領域がビーズの5体積%〜75体積%を構成する、カルボン酸基を有するマクロポーラスコア−シェル樹脂ビーズ。
- 平均粒子サイズが100μm〜500μmであり、シェル領域がビーズの5体積%〜50体積%を構成し、かつビーズが、架橋剤から誘導されたモノマー残基を5%〜30%有する、請求項9記載のビーズ。
