(式中、Xは、炭素数が1〜4のアルキル基、または環構造を有するアルキル基を有するメタクリル酸アルキルエステル単位から主としてなる重合体ブロックを表し;Yは、炭素数が1〜20のアルキル基を有するアクリル酸アルキルエステル単位および/または炭素数が5〜20のアルキル基を有するメタクリル酸アルキルエステル単位から主としてなる重合体ブロックを表す)で示され、重合体ブロックXの重量平均分子量(Mw)が1000〜8000であり、重合体ブロックXの質量と重合体ブロックYの質量との割合がX/Yの質量比において1/99〜10/90の範囲内であるジブロック共重合体を挙げることができる。
そして、上述の感圧転写粘着テープを、転写具に採用することにより使用者にとって好適に使用し得るものとすることができる。
まず本発明の実施例及び比較例に係る粘着剤を用いてグラビア印刷或いはスクリーン印刷によるパターン塗工適性を調査した。以下、実施例及び比較例について説明する。
実施例1、2
上記実施形態において示したアクリル系粘着剤のうち、クラレ社製LAポリマー#2140:100重量部と、東亜合成社製アルフォンUP−1000:50重量部と、クラレ社製LAポリマー#1114:100重量部と、荒川化学社製スーパーエステルA115:200重量部とを混合したアクリル系粘着剤を採用した。そしてスクリーン印刷及びグラビア印刷によるパターン塗工によって製造された感圧転写テープをそれぞれ実施例1及び実施例2とした。
比較例1
粘着剤としてSIS(新田ゼラチン株式会社製 H2155−01)を用い、グラビア印刷によるパターン塗工によって製造された感圧転写テープを比較例1とした。
比較例2〜5
粘着剤としてアクリル系エマルジョン型粘着剤(サイデン化学株式会社製 サイビノール AT−21)、アクリル溶剤系粘着剤(綜研化学株式会社製 SKダイン701)、SIS粘着剤(比較例1と同様のSIS系粘着剤35重量部をトルエン65重量部に溶解させたもの、塗工後に乾燥・製膜)並びにUVシロップ(帝国インキ製造株式会社製 UV TAC−00326)を用い、スクリーン印刷によるパターン塗工によって製造された感圧転写テープをそれぞれ比較例2、比較例3、比較例4並びに比較例5とした。
以上に示した粘着剤並びに印刷方法により、粘着剤の塗布厚30μm及び60μm、塗布面積率が約63%である「ドット」パターン(図6)に塗工し、塗工後の仕上がりを目視によって判断した。なお、グラビア印刷及びスクリーン印刷の詳細については既存の方法を採用しているため詳細な説明は省略するものとする。
パターン塗工適性試験の結果を表1に示す。同表に示すように、アクリル系粘着剤を用いた実施例ではスクリーン印刷及びグラビア印刷を問わず、実施例1及び実施例2についてパターン塗工適性が認められた。また、比較例についても、比較例1、比較例2、比較例5についてパターン塗工適性が認められた。そして、上記各実施例並びに比較例について、粘着剤の塗布厚を30μmで上記試験を行ったものについても、塗布厚を60μmに設定して上記試験を行ったものについても、結果に差異が表れることなく表1と同じ結果を示した。
次に、上述のパターン塗工適性試験によってパターン塗工適性が認められた実施例及び比較例に係る感圧転写テープに加え、現在市販されている転写具に採用されている感圧転写テープを用いて比較例6〜12とし、紙類に対する剥離試験、すなわち紙類に対する紙破現象の有無を調査した。以下、比較例6〜12について説明する。
比較例6
ヘルマ社製転写具(商品名:HERMA Transfer Permanent Glue Dispenser)に装着されている感圧転写テープを用いた。なお、当該感圧転写テープは基材に対してパターン塗工がされているものである。
比較例7、8
トンボ社製転写具(商品名:テープのり ピットテープMS12)に装着されている感圧転写テープを用いた。ここで、当該感圧転写テープは基材に対して粘着剤が粘面塗布されているものであり、全面塗布された状態で供試したものを比較例7とした。また、上記パターン塗工適性試験に採用された塗工パターンにおける粘着剤の配置と略同様の部位に位置する粘着剤のみが粘着力を示すように粘着剤層を部分的に不活性化させた(以下、部分不活化と記す)ものを比較例8とした。
比較例9、10
プラス社製転写具(商品名:テープのり テープグルーR 強粘着タイプ TG−210)に装着されている感圧転写テープを用いた。ここで、当該感圧転写テープは基材に対して粘着剤が粘面塗布されているものであり、全面塗布された状態で供試したものを比較例9とした。また、当該比較例9に部分不活化処理を施したものを比較例10とした。
比較例11、12
コクヨ株式会社製転写具(商品名:プリットローラー タ−M460)に装着されている感圧転写テープを用いた。ここで、当該感圧転写テープは基材に対して粘着剤が粘面塗布されているものであり、全面塗布された状態で供試したものを比較例11とした。また、当該比較例11に部分不活化処理を施したものを比較例12とした。
上述した実施例及び比較例をまずステンレス板に転写した後、基材を剥離させ、この状態において比較例8、10、12に対して部分不活化処理を施した。
部分不活化処理後、各実施例及び比較例に対し市販の白封筒(商品名:オキナ株式会社製ホワイト封筒WP2270(角形2号A4判))を短冊状に裁断した紙片を貼り付け、さらに10mm/sの速度で1Kgローラを1往復させ、40分後に0.8mm/sの速さで180°の方向に紙片を引っ張ることにより剥離動作を行った。そして結果の評価は、「紙破」:粘着剤層の表面に紙片の表層部分を付着させて剥離(図12(a))、「界面剥離」:粘着剤層と紙片との界面において剥離(同図(b))、「凝集剥離」:粘着剤が紙類とステンレス板との両方に付着した状態で剥離(同図(c))、「ナキワカレ」粘着剤層が紙類とステンレス板との両方に付着した状態で剥離(同図(d))、の何れかに分類して行った。
上述の実施例1及び実施例2に用いた粘着剤を上記実施形態に示した各塗工パターンにおいて紙破現象を起こし得る塗布厚の範囲を調査した。
上述した実施例1及び実施例2に用いた粘着剤を図6、図7、図8及び図9に示した塗工パターンである「ドット」、「ドットφ2」、「ドットφ2+メッシュ」、「格子」、「平格子」、「イチョウ」、「レンガ」、「細六角」、「タイヤ」及び「大波」パターンで種々の厚み寸法に塗工したものをそれぞれ上記実物剥離試験と同様の試験方法により剥離試験を行い、各塗工パターンについて、紙破(図12(a))を示した厚み寸法の上限並びに下限を図3に示した。
次に、図6、図7、図8及び図9に示した塗工パターンである「ドット」、「ドット細」、「ドットφ2」、「ドットφ2+メッシュ」、「格子」、「平格子」、「イチョウ」、「レンガ」、「細六角」、「タイヤ」、「大波」及び「横スジ」パターンに「格子」パターンの変形パターンとして一辺が3mmの正方形を0.1mm間隔で配置した「格子大」パターン(図示せず)を加えて、粘着剤部が占める単位面積当たりの面積率(%)と、感圧転写テープの巾寸法を25mmとした場合における、粘着剤部を構成する主たる粘着剤ブロックが基材上に占める面積、すなわち占有面積を調査し、表4に示した。

Claims (21)
- 粘着剤を有してなる粘着剤層と、前記粘着剤を支持してなる基材とを有し、前記粘着剤層を介して少なくとも紙類と他の部材とを止着させ得る粘着製品であって、
前記粘着剤層を前記基材の表面に前記粘着剤を間欠的に配置してなるものとし、
前記粘着剤層を介して前記紙類と前記他の部材とを止着させた状態から前記紙類と前記他の部材とを剥離させる剥離動作を行った際に、前記紙類の表層部を前記粘着剤層の表面に付着させ前記紙類を厚み方向に破断する紙破現象を起こし得るように構成していることを特徴とする粘着製品。 - 前記紙類が上質紙であって、当該上質紙に対して紙破現象を起こし得るように構成している請求項1記載の粘着製品。
- 前記紙類が白封筒であって、当該白封筒に対して紙破現象を起こし得るように構成している請求項1又は2記載の粘着製品。
- 前記粘着剤がアクリル系粘着剤である請求項1、2又は3記載の粘着製品。
- 前記アクリル系粘着剤が、式A−B−Aまたは式A−B−C(式中、A、BおよびCはそれぞれ異なる重合体ブロックを表し、Aはメタクリル酸アルキルエステル単位からなり、Bはアクリル酸アルキルエステル単位からなり、Cはアクリル酸アルキルエステル単位またはメタクリル酸アルキルエステル単位からなる)で表されるトリブロック共重合体を含むものである請求項4記載の粘着製品。
- 前記アクリル系粘着剤が、下記一般式(I)
X−Y (I)
(式中、Xは、炭素数が1〜4のアルキル基、または環構造を有するアルキル基を有するメタクリル酸アルキルエステル単位から主としてなる重合体ブロックを表し;Yは、炭素数が1〜20のアルキル基を有するアクリル酸アルキルエステル単位および/または炭素数が5〜20のアルキル基を有するメタクリル酸アルキルエステル単位から主としてなる重合体ブロックを表す)で示され、重合体ブロックXの重量平均分子量(Mw)が1000〜8000であり、重合体ブロックXの質量と重合体ブロックYの質量との割合がX/Yの質量比において1/99〜10/90の範囲内であるジブロック共重合体を含むものである請求項4又は5記載の粘着製品。 - 前記重合体ブロックXが炭素数1〜4のアルキル基を有するメタクリル酸アルキルエステル単位から主としてなり、かつ、重合体ブロックYが炭素数1〜20のアルキル基を有するアクリル酸アルキルエステル単位から主としてなることを特徴とする請求項6記載の粘着製品。
- 前記重合体ブロックXの重量平均分子量(Mw)と数平均分子量(Mn)との比(Mw/Mn)が1.5以下であることを特徴とする請求項7記載の粘着製品。
- 前記アクリル系粘着剤が粘着付与剤を含むものである請求項4、5、6、7又は8記載の粘着製品。
- 前記粘着剤層の厚み寸法を10〜100μmに設定している請求項4、5、6、7、8又は9記載の粘着製品。
- 前記粘着剤層の厚み寸法を15〜80μmに設定している請求項4、5、6、7、8、9又は10記載の粘着製品。
- 前記粘着剤層の厚み寸法を30〜60μmに設定している請求項4、5、6、7、8、9、10又は11記載の粘着製品。
- 前記粘着剤層が前記アクリル系粘着剤からなる粘着剤部と当該粘着剤部の間に介在する空隙部とを有するものであり、前記粘着剤部が占有する塗布面積率を18〜94%に設定している請求項10、11又は12記載の粘着製品。
- 前記塗布面積率を53〜75%に設定している請求項13記載の粘着製品。
- 当該空隙部を前記粘着剤層の略全面に亘って当該粘着剤層の側面に開放するように構成している請求項13又は14記載の粘着製品。
- 前記粘着剤部が複数の粘着剤ブロックを有するものであり、各粘着剤ブロックの占有面積を0.05〜75平方ミリに設定している請求項13、14又は15記載の粘着製品。
- 前記基材が前記粘着剤層に対して剥離可能に設けられたものであって、
前記粘着剤部の形状を、当該粘着剤部が基材に支持される底面の面積を頂面の面積よりも広く設定した形状としている請求項13、14、15又は16記載の粘着製品。 - 前記アクリル系粘着剤が、ホットメルト型粘着剤である請求項17記載の粘着製品。
- シールや粘着テープ等として使用される粘着製品であって、
前記基材であるシール本体或いは粘着テープ本体に前記粘着剤層を剥離不能に設けていることを特徴とする請求項1、2、3、4、5、6、7、8、9、10、11、12、13、14、15又は16記載の粘着製品。 - 感圧転写粘着テープ等として使用される粘着製品であって、前記基材に前記粘着剤層を剥離可能に設けていることを特徴とする請求項1、2、3、4、5、6、7、8、9、10、11、12、13、14、15、16、17又は18記載の粘着製品。
- 請求項20に記載の粘着製品を具備してなる転写具。
