Abstract
【解決手段】このロックは、水平な位置と非水平位置の間に配置可能な下側旋回機能ユニットと、水平な位置と非水平位置の間に配置可能な上側旋回機能ユニットとを備えている。さらに、このロックは、上側旋回機能ユニットを下側旋回機能ユニットへ結合し且つ下側旋回機能ユニットに対する上側旋回機能ユニットの少なくとも旋回動作を可能とするヒンジアッセンブリと、下側旋回機能ユニットが第二の非水平位置にあるときに下側旋回機能ユニットに対する上側旋回機能ユニットの動作を抑制すべく係合し、且つ下側旋回機能ユニットが第一の実質的に水平な位置に配置されているときに係合を解く少なくとも一つの動作ロックを備えている。

Description
上側ユニット210を矢印の方向に下側ユニット220に対して実質的に垂直に自由に平行移動させることが可能なエレベータスライド機構600をさらに含んでいる。この例においては、移動は実質的に鉛直である。電子複写装置200のこのような関係において、上側ユニット210は、下側スキャンユニット220に設けられたスキャン用プラテンをカバーするカバーまたはフィーダユニットであっても良い。個々のシートをコピーするとき、上側ユニット210は、下側スキャンユニット220の非常に近くに配置され得る。しかしながら、本または他の厚いドキュメントに適応させるために、上側ユニット210が閉じられたままの状態で本に適応させるべく上側ユニット210が、延長可能となることが必要である。

Claims (1)
- タンデムに結合される上側および下側旋回機能ユニットのためのヒンジ旋回および動作ロックであって:
第一の実質的に水平な位置と第二の非水平位置の間に配置可能な下側旋回機能ユニットと;
第一の実質的に水平な位置と第二の非水平位置の間に配置可能な上側旋回機能ユニットと;
上側旋回機能ユニットを下側旋回機能ユニットへ結合し且つ下側旋回機能ユニットに対する上側旋回機能ユニットの少なくとも旋回動作を可能とするヒンジアッセンブリと;
下側旋回機能ユニットが第二の非水平位置にあるときに下側旋回機能ユニットに対する上側旋回機能ユニットの動作を抑制すべく係合し、且つ下側旋回機能ユニットが第一の実質的に水平な位置に配置されているときに係合を解く少なくとも一つの動作ロックと
を具備するヒンジ旋回および動作ロック。
