Abstract
【解決手段】少なくとも1つ以上のバッテリセル111,112,113が直列接続されたバッテリセル群と;センシングワイヤにより,前記各バッテリセルの負極および正極と接続されて,各バッテリセルの電圧を感知するセル電圧感知部120と;前記バッテリセル群の正極または負極の一側端子と外部端子との間の大電流ラインに直列接続されたスイッチ部130と;前記バッテリセルが過充電状態であるか,センシングワイヤが断線した場合における前記セル電圧感知部から信号の入力を受けて,前記スイッチ部をオフさせるような所定の制御信号を出力する制御部140と;を含む。

Claims (16)
- 少なくとも1つ以上のバッテリセルが直列接続されたバッテリセル群と;
センシングワイヤにより,前記各バッテリセルの負極および正極と接続されて,各バッテリセルの電圧を感知するセル電圧感知部と;
前記バッテリセル群の正極または負極の一側端子と外部端子との間の大電流ラインに直列接続されたスイッチ部と;
前記バッテリセルが過充電状態であるか,センシングワイヤが断線した場合における前記セル電圧感知部から信号の入力を受けて,前記スイッチ部をオフさせるような所定の制御信号を出力する制御部と;
を含むことを特徴とする,バッテリパックの保護回路。 - 前記セル電圧感知部は,
バッテリセルに接続された分圧抵抗と;
前記分圧抵抗に連結された基準電圧源と;
入力端子は前記分圧抵抗および基準電圧源と接続され,出力端子は前記制御部に連結された比較器と;
を含むことを特徴とする,請求項1に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。 - 前記セル電圧感知部は,
各バッテリセルの負極および正極間に,センシングワイヤを介して前記バッテリセルに並列接続された少なくとも1つの分圧抵抗と;
前記各バッテリセルの負極に接続された基準電圧源と;
前記各基準電圧源は非反転端子に接続され,前記各分圧抵抗は反転端子に接続され,前記非反転端子に印加される電圧に比べて反転端子に印加される電圧が大きい場合,反転信号を制御部に出力する比較器と;
を含むことを特徴とする,請求項1に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。 - 前記各バッテリセルに並列接続された分圧抵抗の抵抗値は,各バッテリセルに対応する分圧抵抗ごとに異なるように設定されることを特徴とする,請求項3に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。
- 前記比較器は,バッテリセルに接続されたセンシングワイヤが断線した場合,反転信号を制御部に出力することを特徴とする,請求項3に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。
- 前記制御部は,前記セル電圧感知部から反転信号が入力された場合,前記スイッチ部がオフされるような制御信号を,前記スイッチ部に出力することを特徴とする,請求項1に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。
- 前記バッテリセルと外部端子との間の大電流ラインには,前記バッテリセルに流れる電流を感知する電流感知部が直列接続されることを特徴とする,請求項1に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。
- 前記スイッチ部は,充電FET素子および放電FET素子が直列で接続され,前記各素子のゲートには,制御部の出力信号が入力されることを特徴とする,請求項1に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。
- 前記スイッチ部の充電FET素子は,バッテリセルが過充電状態である場合,制御部の出力信号によりオフされることを特徴とする,請求項8に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。
- 前記スイッチ部の充電FET素子は,センシングワイヤが断線した場合,制御部の出力信号によりオフされることを特徴とする,請求項8に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。
- 前記スイッチ部は,セルフコントロールプロテクタおよび前記セルフコントロールプロテクタを作動させるFET素子からなることを特徴とする,請求項1に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。
- 前記セルフコントロールプロテクタは,少なくとも1つ以上のフューズがバッテリセルと外部端子との間の大電流ラインに直列接続されており,前記フューズ間には前記フューズに熱を与えるコイルが接続されており,前記コイルはFET素子を経由してバッテリセルに接続され,前記FET素子のゲートは前記制御部の出力信号が入力されることを特徴とする,請求項11に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。
- 前記制御部は,バッテリセルの過充電またはセンシングワイヤが断線した場合,所定の制御信号を前記FET素子のゲートに出力し,前記所定の制御信号は,前記セルフコントロールプロテクタのコイルに電流を流し,フューズを断線させるような制御信号であることを特徴とする,請求項12に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。
- 前記スイッチ部は,セルフコントロールプロテクタおよび前記セルフコントロールプロテクタを作動させるFET素子を更に含むことを特徴とする,請求項8に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。
- 前記セル電圧感知部は,前記制御部と集積回路上に一体形成されることを特徴とする,請求項1に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。
- 前記セル電圧感知部は,前記制御部と分離した集積回路として具現されることを特徴とする,請求項1に記載のバッテリパックの保護回路。
