Claims (4)
- 外部端子と二次電池の間に挿入された半導体双方向スイッチ素子と、
前記二次電池の電圧を監視し、前記半導体双方向スイッチ素子をオン、オフして前記二次電池の充放電を制御する充放電制御回路を備えた充放電保護回路であって、
前記充放電制御回路は、前記半導体双方向スイッチ素子に接続した第一の端子と、充電器もしくは負荷のどちらが前記外部端子に接続されているかを感知するための第二の端子を備え、
前記第二の端子は、直列に接続された第一の抵抗と第一のスイッチを介して前記二次電池の正極と接続され、直列に接続された第二の抵抗と第二のスイッチを介して前記二次電池の負極と接続されており、
前記充放電制御回路は、
充電状態において前記二次電池が満充電になったときに、前記第一の端子の出力によって前記半導体双方向スイッチ素子をオフして、前記第一のスイッチをオンして、前記第二の端子の電圧を監視し、
放電状態において前記二次電池が過放電になったときに、前記第一の端子の出力によって前記半導体双方向スイッチ素子をオフして、前記第二のスイッチをオンして、前記第二の端子の電圧を監視する、
ことを特徴とする充放電保護回路。 - 前記充放電制御回路は、
充電状態において、前記第二の端子の電圧によって、前記外部端子の過電流を検出したときに、前記第一の端子の出力によって前記半導体双方向スイッチ素子をオフして、前記第二のスイッチをオンして、前記第二の端子の電圧を監視し、
放電状態において、前記第二の端子の電圧によって、前記外部端子の過電流を検出したときに、前記第一の端子の出力によって前記半導体双方向スイッチ素子をオフして、前記第一のスイッチをオンして、前記第二の端子の電圧を監視する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の充放電保護回路。 - 前記充放電制御回路は、
前記半導体双方向スイッチ素子をオフさせる電位と抵抗を介して接続された第三の端子を備え、
前記第三の端子は、前記半導体双方向スイッチ素子のゲートに接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の充放電保護回路。 - 二次電池と、
請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の充放電保護回路と、を備えた電源装置。
