Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明は、スチールコードがコーティングゴムによって被覆されてなる補強層として、カーカス、ビード部補強層、サイド部補強層、およびベルトの少なくともいずれかを有し、かつ該コーティングゴムが、ジエン系ゴムの100質量部と、窒素吸着比表面積が70m2/g以上150m2/g以下であるシリカの30〜80質量部と、シランカップリング剤の1〜15質量部と、有機酸コバルトと、を含有するコーティングゴム組成物からなる空気入りタイヤに関する。本発明においては、該スチールコードのブレーカーカットエッジを被覆するためのエッジストリップゴムがさらに形成されることが好ましい。

(式中、Rは直鎖状または分岐鎖状の1〜8個の炭素数を有するアルキル基を表わし、xは1〜8の整数を表わす)
で表わされ、該一般式(I)においてn=2である分子の割合がシランカップリング剤全体の60質量%以上でかつnの平均値が2〜3の範囲内であることが好ましい。

で表わされ、該一般式(I)においてn=2である分子の割合がシランカップリング剤全体の60質量%以上でかつnが2〜3の範囲内であることが好ましい。Rの炭素数が1以上であれば、アルコキシ基の存在によりシランカップリング剤とシリカとの結合性が良好となる。また、Rの炭素数が8以下であればシランカップリング剤とシリカとの親和性が損なわれることがないため好ましい。
以下、実施例を挙げて本発明をより詳細に説明するが、本発明はこれらに限定されるものではない。

作製したタイヤを乗用車に装着し、速度80km/h、荷重を140%として、60000km走行後のタイヤにおける断面方向のブレーカーカットエッジ部のセパレ−ション長さ、すなわち少なくとも2枚のブレーカーの間に発生するセパレーションの長さをタイヤの8箇所において測定し、平均値を求めた。結果を表2に示す。
作製タイヤを正規リム(6JJ×16)に装着し、STL社製の転がり抵抗試験機を用い、内圧230kPa、時速80kmh、荷重49Nで転がり抵抗を測定した。転がり抵抗の測定値を荷重で除した転がり抵抗係数(RRC)につき、各実施例および比較例の転がり抵抗を、
(比較例1の転がり抵抗/各実施例または比較例の転がり抵抗)×100
により相対値として求めた。相対値が大きいほど転がり抵抗が小さく性能が良好である。結果を表2に示す。
Claims (8)
- スチールコードがコーティングゴムによって被覆されてなる補強層として、カーカス、ビード部補強層、サイド部補強層、およびベルトの少なくともいずれかを有し、前記コーティングゴムが、ジエン系ゴムの100質量部と、窒素吸着比表面積が70m2/g以上150m2/g以下であるシリカの30〜80質量部と、シランカップリング剤の1〜15質量部と、有機酸コバルトと、を含有するコーティングゴム組成物からなる、空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記スチールコードにおけるブレーカーカットエッジを被覆するためのエッジストリップゴムが形成される、請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記エッジストリップゴムが、ジエン系ゴムの100質量部と、窒素吸着比表面積が70m2/g以上150m2/g以下であるシリカの30〜80質量部と、シランカップリング剤の1〜15質量部と、を含有するエッジストリップゴム組成物からなる、請求項2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記エッジストリップゴム組成物が有機酸コバルトを含有する、請求項3に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- エッジストリップゴム組成物の複素弾性率(A)と、前記コーティングゴム組成物の複素弾性率(B)との比(A)/(B)が、(A)/(B)>1を満たす、請求項2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- エッジストリップゴム組成物および/または前記コーティングゴム組成物が、レゾルシノールを主成分とする樹脂を含有する、請求項2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記シランカップリング剤が、以下の一般式、

ジエン系ゴムの100質量部と、窒素吸着比表面積が70m2/g以上150m2/g以下であるシリカの30〜80質量部と、シランカップリング剤の1〜15質量部と、有機酸コバルトと、を130℃以上160℃以下で混練してコーティングゴム組成物を形成する工程と、
前記コーティングゴム組成物で前記スチールコードを被覆して補強層を得る工程と、
を含む、空気入りタイヤの製造方法。
