Abstract
【解決手段】エンジン1の排気通路Exと吸気通路Iとを接続しEGRバルブ24が介装されたEGR装置10と、吸気通路Iに介装された吸気スロットル41と、車両の走行距離あるいはエンジンの作動時間を積算する走行履歴算出手段A1と、燃料噴射の噴射量と噴射時期を制御可能とする燃料噴射制御手段A2と、EGR弁の開度を制御するEGR制御手段A3と、吸気スロットルの開度を制御するスロットル制御手段A4と、走行距離またはエンジン作動時間の積算値が所定の閾値に達した場合に、燃料噴射時期Tnを遅角させるとともにEGR弁開度βgを増大し、且つ吸気スロットル弁開度θsを閉作動させる制御手段A5とを具備する。

Description
更に、この発明によれば、可変容量過給機のタービン入口面積を減少させ、排気が絞られるので、更なる温度の上昇が可能となる。
エンジン1は直列に4つの燃焼室2を配備し、各燃焼室2には直接燃料を噴射する燃料噴射弁3が設けられている。ここで燃料タンク4の燃料(軽油)は高圧燃料噴射ポンプ5で加圧されてコモンレール6(蓄圧室)に圧送され、コモンレール6から燃料噴射弁3を介し各気筒内に噴射される。ここでの燃料噴射弁3は後述のECU7から出力される燃料制御信号に応じてその燃料噴射量Qnと噴射時期Tnが制御される。
触媒コンバータ29はそのケーシング291内に長手方向に沿ってNOx還元触媒31と、ディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ32とを順に収容する。
車両にはエンジン制御手段であるエンジンコントロールユニット(以後単にECU7と記す)が設けられている。
ここで、走行履歴算出手段A1は車両の走行距離あるいはエンジンの作動時間相当のカウント量tn(単位走行距離あるいはエンジンの単位作動時間毎に加算される値)をエンジンの作動時間中に積算して、積算値(ΣCount←ΣCount+tn)を順次求める。
スロットル制御手段A4は吸気スロットル弁41の開度θsを吸気絞り弁開度信号を受けた際に、吸気スロットル弁41を介し指令相当の開度に吸気スロットル弁41を切換え制御できる。
更に、ここではエンジン回転数Neとアクセル開度θa相当の通常吸気スロットル開度マップ(図4(c−1)に示す)map3nを用い、通常スロットル開度θs1(大側開度)を算出し、同開度に切換え保持する。
このようなステップs1〜ステップs3の通常運転指令Snの運転中において、排気ガスは触媒コンバータ29に流入する。

Claims (3)
- エンジン排気通路と吸気通路とを接続しEGR弁が介装されたEGR装置と、
吸気通路に介装された吸気スロットルと、
車両の走行距離あるいはエンジンの作動時間を積算する走行履歴算出手段と、
燃料噴射の噴射量と噴射時期を制御可能とする燃料噴射制御手段と、
上記EGR弁の開度を制御するEGR制御手段と、
上記吸気スロットルの開度を制御するスロットル制御手段と、
上記走行履歴算出手段による走行距離またはエンジン作動時間の積算値が所定の閾値に達した場合に、燃料噴射時期を遅角させるとともにEGR弁開度を増大し、且つ吸気スロットル弁を閉作動させる制御手段と、
を具備するエンジンの制御装置。 - 請求項1記載のエンジンの制御装置において、
上記走行履歴算出手段による走行距離またはエンジン作動時間の積算値が所定の閾値に達した場合に、上記燃料噴射制御手段が主燃料噴射時期を遅角させるとともに主噴射に先立ち燃料を噴射するパイロット噴射を実施することを特徴とするエンジンの制御装置。 - 請求項1または請求項2記載のエンジンの制御装置において、
上記制御手段は上記走行距離またはエンジン作動時間の積算値が所定の閾値に達した場合に、上記EGR弁開度を増大し上記吸気スロットル弁を閉作動させるのに加えて、上記エンジンに搭載された可変容量過給機のタービン入口面積を減少させることを特徴とするエンジンの制御装置。
