本発明は上記実情に鑑みてなされたものであり、排気温度のフィードバック制御と学習制御により温度制御を行うシステムにおいて、学習頻度を確保し、学習制御の精度を向上させることを目的とする。

ステップ580で、この積分値IERRの絶対値を、学習禁止積分量KDTHER(所定値4)と比較する。そして、積分値IERRの絶対値が、学習禁止積分量KDTHER未満ならば、ステップ583に進み、学習補正量の更新を行う。積分値IERRの絶対値が、KDTHER以上ならばステップ581に進む。

Claims (10)
- 内燃機関の排気管に設置されるパティキュレートフィルタと、
上記パティキュレートフィルタを昇温するための昇温手段と、
内燃機関の運転状態を検出するための運転状態検出手段と、
上記パティキュレートフィルタの温度を検出するための温度検出手段と、
上記パティキュレートフィルタへのパティキュレート堆積量を推定するパティキュレート堆積量推定手段と、
上記パティキュレート堆積量推定手段の出力が所定値を超えた時に、上記昇温手段を操作して、上記パティキュレートフィルタを所定の目標温度近傍まで昇温し堆積したパティキュレートを焼却除去する再生制御手段と、
上記再生制御手段による上記昇温手段の操作量を補正する補正手段とを備える内燃機関の排気浄化装置において、
上記補正手段が、
上記温度検出手段の出力が所定の目標温度近傍となるように上記昇温手段の操作量をフィードバック補正するフィードバック補正手段と
上記昇温手段の操作量変化に対する温度変化の時間的な遅れを伝達関数により表現するモデル設定手段と、
上記運転状態検出手段の出力と上記昇温手段の操作量および上記モデル設定手段により設定された伝達関数を基に、時間遅れを反映した温度を推定する温度推定手段と、
上記温度推定手段の出力と上記温度検出手段の出力の偏差を基に、温度推定値と検出値が一致するように上記昇温手段の操作量を補正し、その補正量を学習補正量として記憶する学習補正手段とを有することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 上記フィードバック補正手段は、上記モデル設定手段の設定モデルを用いた状態フィードバックにより、あるいは上記温度検出手段の出力と所定の目標温度との偏差に応じてフィードバック補正量を算出する請求項1記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 上記学習補正手段は、上記偏差の積分量が大きいほど補正量を大きくする請求項1または2記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 上記学習補正手段は、上記学習補正量を運転状態毎に記憶する請求項1ないし3のいずれか記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 上記モデル設定手段は、上記時間遅れをむだ時間と時定数とで表される伝達関数または高次遅れで表される伝達関数としてモデル化し、上記運転状態検出手段の出力に応じて上記むだ時間、時定数または高次遅れ係数を切り替える請求項1ないし4のいずれか記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 上記温度推定手段は、上記運転状態検出手段の出力と上記昇温手段の操作量を基に定常状態の温度を求め、それを上記モデル設定手段で設定した伝達関数でフィルタリングすることで推定値を算出する請求項1ないし5のいずれか記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 上記温度検出手段の出力または上記温度推定手段の出力を基に、上記学習補正手段で算出される学習補正量を更新するか否かの判定を行う学習実施判定手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 上記学習実施判定手段は、上記温度検出手段または上記温度推定手段の時間変化率(絶対値)が所定値を下回る場合は学習補正量を更新し、所定値以上の場合は更新を停止する請求項7記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 上記学習補正手段で算出される学習補正量(絶対値)が所定値よりも大きい場合は、学習補正量の更新を禁止する学習禁止手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれか記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 上記学習補正手段で算出される学習補正量(絶対値)が所定値よりも大きい場合は、上記昇温手段の操作を禁止する昇温禁止手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1ないし9のいずれか記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
