Abstract
【解決手段】 炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法であり、アルカリ金属化合物と有機溶媒を含む処理液を用いて、樹脂硬化物を溶解及び/又は分解することにより、炭素材料と、樹脂硬化物の溶液及び/又は分解生成物とに分離することを特徴とする炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。

Description
すなわち、本発明は以下に記載の各事項に関する。
(2)大気圧下で樹脂硬化物の溶解及び/又は分解を行うことを特徴とする(1)に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
(3)アルカリ金属化合物が、アルカリ金属塩であることを特徴とする(1)または(2)に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
(4)アルカリ金属化合物が、アルカリ金属リン酸塩であることを特徴とする(1)または(2)に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
(5)有機溶媒が、アルコール類であることを特徴とする(1)または(2)に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
(6)有機溶媒が、モノアルコール類であることを特徴とする(1)または(2)に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
(7)処理液を250℃以下に加熱して、処理することを特徴とする(1)または(2)に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
(8)処理液を200℃以下に加熱して、処理することを特徴とする(1)または(2)に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
(9)炭素材料が、炭素繊維であることを特徴とする(1)または(2)に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
(10)炭素材料を再利用可能な状態で分離することを特徴とする(1)または(2)に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
(11)樹脂硬化物を溶液及び/又は分解生成物し、再利用可能な状態で分離することを特徴とする(1)または(2)に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
(12)分離される処理前の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料が、1.0cm3以上の大きさであることを特徴とする(1)〜(11)に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
エポキシ樹脂としては、分子内にエポキシ基を有するものであればどのようなものでもよく、例えば、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールS型エポキシ樹脂、脂環式エポキシ樹脂、脂肪族鎖状エポキシ樹脂、フェノールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、クレゾールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールAノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、ビフェノールのジグリシジリエーテル化物、ナフタレンジオールのジグリシジリエーテル化物、フェノール類のジグリシジリエーテル化物、アルコール類のジグリシジルエーテル化物、及びこれらのアルキル置換体、ハロゲン化物、水素添加物等がある。これらは単独で又は2種類以上を組み合わせて用いることができ、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂を用いることが好ましい。前記エポキシ樹脂以外の成分が不純物として含まれていてもかまわない。
酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂の硬化方法としては、反応が進行すればどのような温度でもよいが、一般的には室温以上、250℃以下で硬化させることが多い。また、硬化の際の雰囲気は、大気中でも不活性気体中でもよく、大気圧下、減圧下及び加圧下のいずれでもよい。
アルカリ金属化合物としては、例えば、リチウム、ナトリウム、カリウム、ルビジウム、セシウム等のアルカリ金属化合物であればどのようなものでもよく、例えば、リチウム、ナトリウム、カリウム、ルビジウム、セシウムなどの金属、水素化物、水酸化物、ホウ水素化物、アミド化合物、フッ化物、塩化物、臭化物、ヨウ化物、ホウ酸塩、リン酸塩、炭酸塩、硫酸塩、硝酸塩、有機酸塩、アルコラート、フェノラートなどがある。これらは単独で又は2種類以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。アルカリ金属塩は、有害性が少ないことから好ましい。更に、アルカリ金属リン酸塩は、酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂を分解し、溶解する作用が強いことからより好ましい。また、前記化合物以外に、どのようなものを併用してもよく、不純物が含まれていてもかまわない。
分離した炭素材料並びに樹脂硬化物の溶液及び/又は分解生成物は、再利用することができる。
ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂(エポキシ当量180)100g、酸無水物100g、2−メチルイミダゾール1gを混合した後、10mmに切断した炭素繊維(繊維径10μm)100gを加え、さらに混合した。これを、縦100mm×横100mm×深さ3mmのテフロン(登録商標)製の型に入れ、室温で1時間放置した後、100℃/1時間+125℃/1時間+150℃/1時間+175℃/1時間+200℃/1時間の条件で加熱して、炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料を得た。ここから30mm×10mmを切り出し、試験片とした。

K3PO4(リン酸三カリウム)、NaOH(水酸化ナトリウム)

それに対して、実施例1〜8に示したように、アルカリ金属化合物と有機溶媒を併用した場合には、酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂は10時間前後に溶解した。
Claims (12)
- 炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法であり、アルカリ金属化合物と有機溶媒を含む処理液を用いて、樹脂硬化物を溶解及び/又は分解することにより、炭素材料と、樹脂硬化物の溶液及び/又は分解生成物とに分離することを特徴とする炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
- 大気圧下で樹脂硬化物の溶解及び/又は分解を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
- アルカリ金属化合物が、アルカリ金属塩であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
- アルカリ金属化合物が、アルカリ金属リン酸塩であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
- 有機溶媒が、アルコール類であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
- 有機溶媒が、モノアルコール類であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
- 処理液を250℃以下に加熱して、処理することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
- 処理液を200℃以下に加熱して、処理することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
- 炭素材料が、炭素繊維であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
- 炭素材料を再利用可能な状態で分離することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
- 樹脂硬化物を溶液及び/又は分解生成物し、再利用可能な状態で分離することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
- 分離される処理前の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料が、1.0cm3以上の大きさであることを特徴とする請求項1〜11に記載の炭素材料/酸無水物硬化エポキシ樹脂複合材料の分離方法。
