Abstract

Claims (20)
- ディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス流中に生成される排出物を削減するように適合した排気物質削減システムであって、
前記ディーゼルエンジンの動作を制御するのに適合した制御部と、
前記ディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス流中に配置され、前記制御部により制御され、前記排気ガス流の温度を調整するのに適合した少なくとも1つの温度調整機構と、
前記温度調整機構と連係する、前記温度調整された排気ガス流から排出物を除去するのに適合した少なくとも1つの排出物除去装置と
を備えている排気物質削減システム。 - 前記排出物除去装置は、選択的触媒還元器またはディーゼル微粒子フィルタの内の1つを含む請求項1に記載の排気物質削減システム。
- 前記排気ガス流中に配置され、前記排気ガス流の温度を検知し、検知された温度を前記制御部に通知するのに適合した少なくとも1つのセンサを更に備える請求項1に記載の排気物質削減システム。
- 前記検知された温度は所望の温度範囲と比較され、前記排気ガス流の温度は前記制御部と前記温度調整機構とによって調整される請求項3に記載の排気物質削減システム。
- 前記温度調整機構を通過する前後で前記排気ガス流の温度が検知されるように、1つの前記センサが、前記排気ガス流中で、前記温度調整機構の前に配置され、第2の前記センサが前記温度調整機構の後に配置されている請求項3に記載の排気物質削減システム。
- 前記排気ガス流の温度が検知され、第2の排出物除去装置のためのより高い温度に調整される請求項5に記載の排気物質削減システム。
- 第1の排出物除去装置と、第2の排出物除去装置と、前記第1の排出物除去装置と連係する第1の温度調整機構と、前記第2の排出物除去装置と連係する第2の温度調整機構とを更に備える請求項1に記載の排気物質削減システム。
- 前記第1の排出物除去装置は、温度の下がった排気ガス流を使用し、前記第1の温度調整機構は、排気ガス流の温度を下げるのに適合した熱交換器であり、
前記第2の排出物除去装置は、高温の排気ガス流を使用し、前記第2の温度調整機構は、前記第2の排出物除去装置への導入に先立って排気ガス流の温度を上げることが出来る熱生成源である請求項7に記載の排気物質削減システム。 - 前記排気ガス流中に配置され、前記排気ガス流の温度を検知し、検知された温度を前記制御部に通知するのに適合した少なくとも1つのセンサを更に備える請求項8に記載の排気物質削減システム。
- 前記温度調整機構は、前記排出物除去装置と連係し、排気ガス流の温度を上げるのに適合した熱生成源である請求項1に記載の排気物質削減システム。
- 前記温度調整機構と連係するディーゼル酸化触媒を更に備え、
前記排気ガス流は、前記温度調整機構を通過する前に前記ディーゼル酸化触媒を通過する請求項1に記載の排気物質削減システム。 - 前記排出物除去装置は、選択的触媒還元器を含む請求項1に記載の排気物質削減システム。
- 前記排出物除去装置は、ディーゼル微粒子フィルタを含む請求項1に記載の排気物質削減システム。
- 前記温度調整機構は、前記ディーゼル微粒子フィルタを加熱することが出来るバーナーを含む請求項13に記載の排気物質削減システム。
- 前記排出物除去装置は、尿素を使用する選択的触媒還元装置を含む請求項1に記載の排気物質削減システム。
- 尿素を前記選択的触媒還元装置に注入する尿素注入装置を更に備えている請求項15に記載の排気物質削減システム。
- 粒子状物質及び排出物を含む排気ガス流を排出するディーゼルエンジン用の排気物質削減システムであって、
排出物酸化装置と、
前記排出物酸化装置と連係し、排気ガス流の温度を変えるのに適合した熱交換器と、
前記熱交換器と連係し、温度調整された排気ガス流中の排出物を化学変化させるのに適合した選択的触媒還元装置と、
排気ガス流から粒子状物質を除去するフィルタと、
自己再生可能な前記フィルタと連係する熱生成源と、
排気ガス流中に配置され、排気ガス流の温度を検知する少なくとも1つのセンサと、
前記熱交換器及び前記熱生成源と連係し、前記センサによって検知された温度に基づいて前記熱交換器及び前記熱生成源の作用を制御するのに適合した制御部と
を備える排気物質削減システム。 - ディーゼルエンジンによって排出される排出物を削減する方法であって、
ディーゼルエンジンからの排気ガス流を生成することと、
前記排気ガス流の温度を調整することと、
温度調整された排気ガス流から排出物を除去することと
を含む排気物質削減方法。 - 前記温度調整のステップの前に、
排気ガス流に対する所望の温度範囲を決定するステップと、
調整に先立って排気ガス流の温度を検知するステップと、
どれだけの温度調整が必要かを判定するステップと
を更に備える請求項18に記載の排気物質削減方法。 - 温度調整の前に、
排気ガス流中の粒子状物質の一部がガスに変換されるように酸化するステップと、
前記変換されたガスを排気ガス流と混合するステップと、
前記混合されたガスと排気ガス流とを排出するステップと
を更に備える請求項18に記載の排気物質削減方法。
