Description
内燃機関の排気通路に設けられ排気を浄化する排気浄化手段に燃料を供給することで前記排気浄化手段の排気浄化能力を回復させる内燃機関の排気浄化装置であって、
前記排気浄化手段の排気浄化能力を回復させる際に、
前記排気浄化手段へ流入する排気の温度が第1所定範囲内にあり、かつ、前記排気浄化手段の温度が第2所定範囲内にある場合には、微粒化度合いが比較的低くなるように燃料の供給を実行し、
前記排気浄化手段へ流入する排気の温度が前記第1所定範囲の下限温度よりも低い場合、又は、前記排気浄化手段の温度が前記第2所定範囲の上限温度よりも高い場合には、微粒化度合いが比較的高くなるように燃料の供給を実行することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置である。

Claims (2)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に設けられ排気を浄化する排気浄化手段に燃料を供給することで前記排気浄化手段の排気浄化能力を回復させる内燃機関の排気浄化装置であって、
前記排気浄化手段の排気浄化能力を回復させる際に、
前記排気浄化手段へ流入する排気の温度が第1所定範囲内にあり、かつ、前記排気浄化手段の温度が第2所定範囲内にある場合には、微粒化度合いが比較的低くなるように燃料の供給を実行し、
前記排気浄化手段へ流入する排気の温度が前記第1所定範囲の下限温度よりも低い場合、又は、前記排気浄化手段の温度が前記第2所定範囲の上限温度よりも高い場合には、微粒化度合いが比較的高くなるように燃料の供給を実行することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 所定量の燃料の供給を実行すると共に燃料を供給しない期間である燃料供給不実行期間を有する1回の供給周期中に、所定量の燃料の供給を複数回に分けて間欠的に行うことで燃料の微粒化度合いが比較的高くなるようにすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
