Abstract
【解決手段】 有機発光デバイス(OLED)において、ビナフタレンまたはビキノリン誘導体が発光層およびまたは1つ以上の電荷輸送層として、あるいは、そのような層の1つ以上のためのホストあるいはドーパント物質として使用する。

Description
OLEDは上記に開示された手順によって作られた。そのデバイスは、正孔輸送物として機能するために、その上にNPDが蒸着されたITOアノードで構成されている。Bphenは、電子輸送物として使用されるが、リチウムアルミニウム合金はカソードとして使用される。また、このデバイスにおいて、発光層も存在していた。化合物(3)はホストであったが、化合物(4)はドーパントであった。
OLEDは上記の開示された手順による製造され、そこでは、化合物(1)は正孔運送物であり、AlQ3は、緑色のエミッタと電子輸送物であった。順バイアスを印加すると、そのデバイスはAlQ3発光の典型である520nmでピークを示す緑色の光を放出した。そのデバイスのルミネッセンスは14Vで10,000カンデラ/m2であった。
別のOLEDは上記の開示された手順による製造され、そこでは、化合物(2)は正孔輸送物であり、AlQ3は緑色のエミッタと電子輸送物であった。順バイアスを印加すると、そのデバイスはAlQ3発光の典型である520nmでピークを示す緑色の光を放出した。そのデバイスのルミネッセンスは11Vで12,000カンデラ/m2であった。
Claims (14)
- 前記発光層は、前記第1のビナフタレンまたはビキノリン誘導体の機能性発光層から成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記発光層は、機能性発光ドーパントと共に、前記第1のビナフタレンまたはビキノリン誘導体のホスト物質から成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記第1のビナフタレンまたはビキノリン誘導体は、実質的に前記第1のビナフタレンまたはビキノリン誘導体の光学的に活性なエナンチオマの1つから成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記第1のビナフタレンまたはビキノリン誘導体は、2および2’の位置が置換されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- R1〜R12のそれぞれが独立に水素原子または発光性基を表すことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記電荷輸送層が前記ビナフタレンまたはビキノリン誘導体の機能性電荷輸送層から成ることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記電荷輸送層が、機能性電荷輸送ドーパントと共に、前記ビナフタレンまたはビキノリン誘導体のホスト物質から成ることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記電荷輸送層が電子輸送層であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記電荷輸送層が正孔輸送層であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記第1のビナフタレンまたはビキノリン誘導体は2と2’の位置が置換されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- R1〜R12のそれぞれが、独立に水素原子または電荷輸送基を表すことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機発光デバイス。
