Abstract
【解決手段】 a)熱可塑性物質および/又は架橋エラストマー又は架橋性エラストマー20〜60重量%、b)難燃剤が水酸化アルミニウム40〜80重量%;比表面積:3〜5mg2/g、平均粒度:d50 1.0〜1.5μm、残留湿度:0.1〜0.4%、吸油量:19〜23%、吸水量:0.4〜0.6ml/g 又は、水酸化アルミニウム40〜80重量%;比表面積:5〜8mg2/g、平均粒度:d50 0.8〜1.3μm、残留湿度:0.1〜0.6%、吸油量:21〜25%、吸水量:0.6〜0.8ml/gを含むことを特徴とする難燃性樹脂組成物。沈降と濾過で得た平均粒子径が0.8〜1.5μmの濾過湿潤水酸化アルミニウムを、粒子径分布を大きく変えることなく、BET表面積を少なくとも20%増加させる条件で、加熱空気乱気流下で粉砕乾燥する難燃剤の製造方法。

Claims (8)
- a)熱可塑性物質および/または架橋または架橋性エラストマー20〜60重量%、および
b)難燃剤として、次の物性値を有する水酸化アルミニウム40〜80重量%
BET法による比表面積:3〜5mg2/g
平均粒度:d50 1.0〜1.5μm
残留湿度:0.1〜0.4%
吸油量:19〜23%
吸水量:0.4〜0.6ml/g
または、次の物性値を有する水酸化アルミニウム40〜80重量%
BET法による比表面積:5〜8mg2/g
平均粒度:d50 0.8〜1.3μm
残留湿度:0.1〜0.6%
吸油量:21〜25%
吸水量:0.6〜0.8ml/g
を含むことを特徴とする難燃性ポリマー組成物。 - 前記b)成分の水酸化アルミニウムが、0.5〜1.5%のベーマイトを含むギブサイト構造であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記a)成分を構成するポリマーが、ポリオレフィン、ビニルポリマー、共重合体あるいはターポリマーとグラフト重合ポリメタクリレート、天然または合成ゴム、これらの混合物であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物。
- 次の物性値を有する水酸化アルミニウム
BET法による比表面積:3〜5mg2/g
平均粒度:d50 1.0〜1.3μm
残留湿度:0.1〜0.4%
吸油量:19〜23%
吸水量:0.4〜0.6ml/g
または、次の物性値を有する水酸化アルミニウム
BET法による比表面積:5〜8mg2/g
平均粒度:d50 0.8〜1.5μm
残留湿度:0.1〜0.6%
吸油量:21〜25%
吸水量:0.6〜0.8ml/g
の製造方法であって、沈降および濾過により得られた平均粒子径が0.8〜1.5μmである濾過湿潤水酸化アルミニウムを、粒子径分布を大きく変えることなく、BET表面積を少なくとも20%増加させるような条件で加熱空気乱気流下で粉砕乾燥することを特徴とする難燃剤の製造方法。 - 剛性シャフト上に強固に搭載されたローターが周速40〜140m/sで回転し、かつ150〜450℃の加熱空気が流速3000〜7000Bm3/h、レイノルズ因子3000以上で循環する粉砕乾燥機を使用して行うことを特徴とする請求項4記載の難燃剤の製造方法。
- 前記濾過湿潤水酸化アルミニウムの凝集物を一次結晶に変換するため、前記ローターを周速60m/s以上で運転することを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載の難燃剤の製造方法。
- 流速5000Bm3/h以上、温度270℃以上の加熱空気によるエネルギーの導入およびローターの周速70m/s以上の運転が、表面上ギブサイト粒子をベーマイトに変換するために十分な条件であることを特徴とする請求項4〜6のいずれか1項記載の難燃剤の製造方法。
- 溶融物のメルトフローインデックスが標準的な水酸化アルミニウムに較べて少なくとも20%大きい、押出形成法による被覆導電体およびケーブルの製造における請求項1〜3の難燃性ポリマー組成物の使用。
