【００６２】 消費者がインターネット上で専門家を選択する場合、サーバは、２つの異なる
独立した伝送（たとえば電話呼出し）が行われ、次いでその２つの伝送が互いに

ｒｐｏｉｎｔプログラムの専門家であり、ビルはＷｏｒｄおよびＥｘｃｅｌプロ
グラムの専門家である。サーバは、彼らが両方ともログオンされたことを検出す
る。その後夕方になり、ビルは消費者とのやり取りを行い、自分の見積りでおよ
そ１５分間以上と思われる。ジョーはフリーである。その時、消費者であるデビ
ッドがログオンし、自分の質問に最も好適なキーワード照会リストに、Ｍｉｃｒ
ｏｓｏｆｔ Ｗｏｒｄの自動スペルチェック機能をオフにする方法と書き込む。
さらに自分のＶＩＳＡのクレジット・カード番号を、保護リンクを介して送信す
る。入力が終わるとすぐに、彼のＰＣ画面には２色のコード化されたボックスと
、現在対応可能な専門家、ジョーおよびビルのリスト（ただしコード名のみが使
用される）が同時に表示される。どちらもＭｉｃｒｏｓｏｆｔ Ｗｏｒｄの専門
家であるため、関連度評点は１．０（最適）である。どちらの専門家も、１分間
１ドルという同じ料金である。ただし、ジョーのエリアにある小さなボックスは
判読しやすいように明るい緑色になっており、このボックスはジョーが今現在、
デビッドと話せる状態であるという事実を表している。（ビルのボックスは、１
５分以上待ちを表す赤色になっているので、デビッドはビルを選択しない。）デ
ビッドがジョーのボックスにあるアイコンをクリックすると、１、２秒後に、デ
ビッドのＰＣが対応型であれば、デビッドのＰＣにジョーの映像がストリーミン
グ方式でリアルタイムに映し出され、ジョーのＰＣにはデビッドが映し出される
。彼らは５分間でデビッドの問題を解決してログアウトする。ただし、ログアウ
トの前に、デビッドは、ジョーのヘルプの質を「最低」の０から「最高」の１０
までで評価することにより、接続料金に０．５ドルの割り戻しを受け取る。デビ
ッドの通話料金は、５ドルから０．５ドルを引いた、４．５ドルとなり、彼の場
合は、これが月額５０ドルから１００ドルの電話／インターネット請求書に追加
される。
【００６５】 アドバイス・ルータは、受け取った正味４．５ドルからサイト維持費として１

【図１】 集中型アドバイス・ソースとして知られる、現在最も一般的なアドバイス業務
の配置構成を示す図（ａ）であって、多数の消費者と、各企業で彼らを助ける２
、３のエージェントが配置され、非常に多くの質問が非常に少ないエージェント
に送られている、一般的な漏斗型になっている。基本的に新しいアドバイス技術
構造である、多様型アドバイス・ソースを示す図（ｂ）であって、実際に製品を
販売する企業は関与しないか、周辺のみで関与する。さらに多様型アドバイス・
ソースは、所与の時点での世界中の質問数と、その質問に答えられると思われる
