【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ネットワークを利用したオンラインショッピングにおいて、商品やサービス等の広告情報をネットワーク上に流すオンライン広告システムおよびその方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
現在、インターネットを利用したオンラインショッピングにおいては、ＷＷＷ（world wide web）サーバをアクセスする様々なユーザのニーズを把握するために、ＷＷＷサーバはそのアクセスログなどの情報を取得している。このようなオンラインショッピングの中で商品やサービス等の広告を提供するシステムでは、ユーザは既存メディア（ＦＡＸや電話の問い合わせ）を利用して、ＷＷＷサーバ上に掲載された商品やサービスの注文／購入を行う。

図６は、従来のオンラインショッピングを示している。図６において、ＷＷＷサーバを備えたサービスプロバイダのシステム１は、インターネット４を介して、ＷＷＷブラウザを備えたユーザ端末２に接続されている。ＷＷＷブラウザとは、ユーザ端末２の画面上でポインティング・デバイスを用いてクリック操作を行うことにより、インターネット４上で関連情報のあるサイトや目的とするファイルへ簡単にジャンプできる機能を持つソフトウェアである。図６では、次の順序でオンラインショッピングが行われる。
▲１▼ インターネット４上で、ユーザがＷＷＷサーバの広告をアクセス（参照）する。
▲２▼ ユーザが、気に入った商品を実際の店舗３（××商店）に電話をかけて注文する。このとき、広告に掲載された商店３の通常の電話番号０２７２−５２−８０００が用いられる。
▲３▼ 商店３とユーザが話をし、取引が成立すると、商品が商店３より配送される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述のような従来のオンラインショッピングには次のような問題がある。

掲載した商品等の広告に対するアクセス頻度はＷＷＷサーバのアクセスログからある程度判っても、注文／購入に関する情報がＷＷＷサーバ上を通らないため、実際にアクセスしたユーザの中で何人が商品を購入したか（ヒット率）が不明である。商品がどの程度売れたかをプロバイダが知るには、実在する店舗に直接聞く必要がある。しかし、新聞や雑誌広告などのオンライン広告以外の方法で宣伝を実施している店舗では、ユーザの商品購入の動機がインターネット上の広告によるものか、その他の情報によるものか、判断がつかない場合が多い。このため、店舗から商品の売れ行きを聞き出しても、プロバイダがオンライン広告の有効性を確認することは難しいという問題がある。

また、たとえ店舗がインターネット用に別口の電話番号を開設しても、その電話番号にかかってきた電話の受信の回数程度しか分からない。したがって、店舗自身が意識的に受信電話の統計を取る手間をかけなければ、上述の問題は解決しない。

本発明は、ネットワークを利用したオンラインショッピングにおいて、サービスプロバイダがオンライン広告の有効性を把握することが可能なオンライン広告システムおよびその方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
図１は、本発明のオンライン広告システムの原理図である。図１のオンライン広告システムはネットワークに接続された情報処理システムにより実現され、広告情報記憶手段１１、通信手段１２、ログ情報記憶手段１３、および解析手段１４を備える。

広告情報記憶手段１１は、上記広告主につながるフリーダイヤルのアクセス番号を含む広告情報を記憶する。
通信手段１２は、上記ネットワークを介してユーザ端末から上記広告情報のアクセス要求を受け取った時、その広告情報をユーザ端末に送信する。

上記広告情報に含まれるアクセス番号は、例えば電話やＦＡＸ（ファクシミリ）等のフリーダイヤルの番号であり、商品やサービスを提供する広告主にユーザが注文を出す際に用いられる。一般に、フリーダイヤルの請求書からはその番号の通話数を知ることができるので、オンライン広告サービスのプロバイダは広告の反響を調べることが可能となる。例えば、ユーザがフリーダイヤルを用いて広告主にアクセスした回数や時刻を統計データとして採取し、それを広告主に提供することが可能となる。

ログ情報記憶手段１３は、上記広告情報に対するユーザのアクセスに関する第１のアクセス情報を記憶し、通信手段１２は、上記広告情報を上記ユーザ端末に送信した時、その第１のアクセス情報をログ情報記憶手段１３に格納する。

インターネット上のオンラインショッピングの場合、ユーザがＷＷＷブラウザを用いてどのホームページのどの部分にアクセスしたかを示すログ情報が、第１のアクセス情報としてログ情報記憶手段１３に記憶される。

そして、解析手段１４は、上記フリーダイヤルのアクセス番号に対するアクセスに関する第２のアクセス情報を受け取り、第１および第２のアクセス情報の解析を行って、解析結果を出力する。

第２のアクセス情報としては、例えばフリーダイヤルの請求書が用いられる。この第２のアクセス情報に含まれる通話記録の数とログ情報記憶手段１３に記憶された第１のアクセス情報に含まれるアクセス記録の数とから、対応する広告情報に対する有効なアクセス数を推定することができる。解析手段１４は、この有効なアクセス数に関する情報を解析結果として出力する。出力された解析結果は、必要に応じてプロバイダから広告主に提供される。

例えば、図１の広告情報記憶手段１１とログ情報記憶手段１３は、実施形態における図２のオンライン広告システム２１を構成する計算機のメモリに対応する。また、通信手段１２と解析手段１４は、その計算機の処理装置に対応する。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照しながら本発明の実施の形態を詳細に説明する。
図２は、本発明の実施形態におけるオンラインショッピングを示している。図２において、ＷＷＷサーバを備えたサービスプロバイダのオンライン広告システム２１は、インターネット２４を介して、ＷＷＷブラウザを備えたユーザ端末２２に接続されている。オンライン広告システム２１は、ＣＰＵ（中央処理装置）やメモリを備える計算機を含み、インターネット２４上のプロバイダのホームページNetmart に広告情報を掲載する。図２では、次の順序でオンラインショッピングが行われる。
▲１▼ ユーザが、ユーザ端末２２からＷＷＷブラウザを用いて、インターネット２４上でＷＷＷサーバのオンライン広告をアクセス（参照）する。このとき、オンライン広告システム２１は、××商店２３の商品説明とフリーダイヤルの番号０１２０−××××××をユーザ端末２２の画面上に表示させ、ユーザの識別情報、アクセス時刻、アクセスしたページ等の情報をアクセスログとして保持する。
▲２▼ ユーザが、オンライン広告に掲載されたフリーダイヤルに電話をかけて、気に入った商品を注文する。
▲３▼ 電話会社（ＮＴＴ）のフリーダイヤル制御装置２５は、ユーザの電話番号、通話受け付け日および時刻、通話時間等のフリーダイヤルのアクセス情報をロギングし、ログ２６として保持する。
▲４▼ フリーダイヤル制御装置２５は、ユーザからの電話を、フリーダイヤルに対応する××商店２３の実際の店舗の電話番号０２７２−５２−８０００につなげる。
▲５▼ 商店２３とユーザが話をし、取引が成立すると、商品が商店２３より配送される。
▲６▼ フリーダイヤルのログ２６の内容（課金情報）が、ＮＴＴからサービスプロバイダに通知される。
▲７▼ サービスプロバイダは必要に応じて、ＷＷＷサーバ上のアクセスログとフリーダイヤルのアクセスログを集計／分析し、その結果を広告主である××商店２３に提供する。

本実施形態においては、サービスプロバイダはあらかじめＮＴＴとフリーダイヤル契約を結んでおき、フリーダイヤルの接続先として広告主の電話番号を登録しておく。この場合、フリーダイヤルの使用料の請求書はプロバイダに送られる。プロバイダは、そのフリーダイヤルを私的用途に使用しないように広告主に要請しておく。私的用途に使用すると、その記録がフリーダイヤルのアクセスログに含まれてしまい、請求書等の課金情報では他のユーザの電話との区別がつかなくなるためである。

もちろん、広告主自身がＮＴＴとフリーダイヤルの契約を実施してもよいが、その場合はログの解析は広告主が行うことになる。また、プロバイダがフリーダイヤル契約を結び、ＮＴＴから請求された電話料金を広告主に請求する
ユーザが店舗へ商品を注文する際にフリーダイヤルを用いることにより、プロバイダは、ユーザが店舗にコンタクトした回数／時間等の情報をＮＴＴからの請求書の形で得られる。したがって、これを各ページのアクセスログと突き合せることにより、インターネット上での広告の効果が統計的に分析できる。また、フリーダイヤルに電話をかけた場合、ＮＴＴにより自動的に店舗の電話番号に転送されるので、店舗側はインターネットを見て電話してきたユーザかどうかを意識しなくてもよい。

図３は、オンラインショッピングに関して、サービスプロバイダ側で行う処理のフローチャートである。図３において処理が開始されると、オンライン広告システム２１のＷＷＷサーバは、まずフリーダイヤルを掲載したオンライン広告をネットワーク上に流し（ステップＳ１）、アクセスしてきたユーザのアクセスログを取得する（ステップＳ２）。アクセスログは、ユーザのクリック操作により表示されるページが代わる度に取得される。

図４は、ＷＷＷサーバ上でのアクセスログの例を示している。図４のアクセスログには、ホスト名、利用者名、認証名、アクセス日時、リクエスト、ステータス、返却したデータ長が含まれる。ホスト名は、オンライン広告システム２１のホスト計算機名を表し、利用者名および認証名は、アクセスしてきたユーザの識別名を表す。また、リクエストは、ユーザがＷＷＷブラウザを用いてリクエストしたＨＴＭＬ（hyper text makeup language）ファイルの情報を表し、データ長は、ＷＷＷサーバがユーザ端末２２に返送したデータの長さを表す。リクエストの中のＡ．ＨＴＭＬがＨＴＭＬファイルのファイル名に相当する。

次に、プロバイダはＮＴＴから、フリーダイヤルのアクセスログとして請求書を受け取り、オンライン広告システム２１に入力する（ステップＳ３）。
図５は、フリーダイヤルの請求書の例を示している。図５の請求書には、フリーダイヤルの番号（不図示）とともに、各通話毎の通話月日、通話開始時刻、発信地域名、通話時間、通話度数、ダイヤル通話料が記載されている。このようにフリーダイヤルの通話料の請求書には、一定期間の通話度数の合計だけではなく、各通話毎の情報が記載される。したがって、特定の時間帯に何人から電話があったかを容易に知ることができる。

オンライン広告システム２１は、あらかじめプログラミングされた方法でＷＷＷサーバが取得したアクセスログと、フリーダイヤルのアクセスログとを集計／分析する（ステップＳ４）。ここでは、例えば、ＷＷＷサーバのアクセスログから特定の時間帯のアクセス件数を集計し、フリーダイヤルのアクセスログから同じ時間帯の通話件数を集計する。そして、その時間帯のNetmart へのアクセス件数に対する通話件数の比率（ヒット率）を計算する。商品等が季節毎に変わる広告の場合、一定期間毎にヒット率を計算することもできる。

そして、プロバイダはログの分析結果を広告主に通知し（ステップＳ５）、処理を終了する。分析結果の通知は、オンライン広告システム２１から広告主の端末に電子メールを送る等の方法によりオンラインで行ってもよく、また、郵送等の方法により行ってもよい。

アクセスログに記録されたアクセスの数が比較的少ない場合は、ステップＳ４でオンライン広告システム２１がアクセスログを集計／分析する代わりに、この処理をプロバイダが手計算により行ってもよい。

次に、図６から図９までを参照しながら、図３のステップＳ３、Ｓ４の処理について詳しく説明する。
図６は、図３のステップＳ３、Ｓ４に対応するログ解析処理のフローチャートである。図６において処理が開始されると、まずプロバイダはオンライン広告システム２１にフリーダイヤルの課金情報を入力し、オンライン広告システム２１は入力情報に基づいてフリーダイヤルファイルを作成する（ステップＳ１１）。

図７は、この時作成されるフリーダイヤルファイルの例を示している。図７のフリーダイヤルファイルには、各通話毎に、フリーダイヤル番号、通話月日、通話開始時刻、通話時間、通話度数、発信地域名、アクセス有無が記録される。このうち、アクセス有無の欄はログ解析処理における制御用のフラグとして用いられる。

次に、オンライン広告システム２１はフリーダイヤル番号をキーとして、あらかじめ作成されている商店管理ファイルから該当する商店の画面のＨＴＭＬファイル名を検索する（ステップＳ１２）。

図８は、この時用いられる商店管理ファイルの例を示している。図８の商店管理ファイルには、フリーダイヤル番号、商店の識別名、およびフリーダイヤル番号を含む画面（フリーダイヤル画面）のＨＴＭＬファイル名の対応関係が記録されている。

次に、オンライン広告システム２１は、検索した商店の画面のＨＴＭＬファイル名をキーとして、該当するオンライン広告のアクセスログを抽出する（ステップＳ１３）。そして、抽出した各アクセスログのアクセス日時を参照し、それらを含む所定時間内（または所定期間内）にあるフリーダイヤルファイルのレコードを算出する（ステップＳ１４）。

図９は、図６のステップＳ１４で行われるレコード算出処理のフローチャートである。図９において処理が開始されると、オンライン広告システム２１は、まず抽出した各アクセスログをそのアクセス日時順にソートし（ステップＳ２１）、フリーダイヤルファイルのレコードを通話開始時刻順にソートする（ステップＳ２２）。

次に、フリーダイヤルファイルのレコードを１つずつ取り出し（ステップＳ２３）、取り出したレコード内の開始時刻がいずれかのアクセスログ内のアクセス日時から所定時間内（または所定期間内）かどうかを判定する（ステップＳ２４）。開始時刻が所定時間内（または所定期間内）であれば、そのレコードのアクセス有無の欄に「有」のフラグを格納し（ステップＳ２５）、そうでなければ「無」のフラグを格納する（ステップＳ２６）。

次に、そのレコードが最後のレコードかどうかを判定し（ステップＳ２７）、最後のレコードでなければ次のレコードを取り出して（ステップＳ２３）、ステップＳ２４以降の処理を繰り返す。最後のレコードであれば処理を終了する。こうして、オンライン広告のアクセスログから所定時間内にあるフリーダイヤルファイルのレコードのアクセス有無の欄が「有」になる。

次に、オンライン広告システム２１は、同じ商店のフリーダイヤル番号を持ち、一定時間内に属するフリーダイヤルファイルのレコードの中で、アクセス有無が「有」となっているレコードの割合を、フリーダイヤルファイルのオンラインアクセス率として算出する（図６、ステップＳ１５）。

次に、アクセス有無が「有」となっているレコード数を、ステップＳ１３で抽出したアクセスログ数で割って、有効アクセス率（電話のあった率、ヒット率）を算出し（ステップＳ１６）、処理を終了する。

このようなオンライン広告システムによれば、オンライン広告へのアクセス時刻とフリーダイヤルへのアクセス時刻を比較して、前者のすぐ後に続くフリーダイヤルへの電話を同じユーザによるものと推定することができる。したがって、オンライン広告への総アクセス数のうち、発注または問い合せにつながった有効なアクセスの数を統計的に把握することができる。プロバイダは分析結果を用いて適切な広告料を設定することができ、広告主は分析結果を目安にしてオンライン広告の効果を他の広告と比較することができる。

同じフリーダイヤルを掲載した広告として、通信販売等におけるカタログ広告がある。こうした広告を見てユーザが電話してきた場合、フリーダイヤルの請求書は広告主に送られるが、広告に対するアクセスログは存在しないので、上述のようなヒット率を容易に求めることはできない。

尚、以上の実施形態において、広告主が必ずしも店舗を備えた商店である必要はなく、商品やサービスをユーザに提供する任意の事業者がこれに該当し、商品やサービスの仲介を行う代理業者も広告主になることができる。また、ユーザが広告主に注文を出す方法は電話に限られず、ＦＡＸ（ファクシミリ）等のフリーダイヤル契約が存在する任意の方法が利用できる。ＦＡＸを用いる場合は、オンライン広告にＦＡＸのフリーダイヤルを掲載すればよい。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、オンラインショッピングにおいて、ユーザのオンライン広告へのアクセス情報と商品等の供給者へのアクセス情報との関係を調べることが可能になる。これにより、オンライン広告のサービスプロバイダまたは広告主は、その広告の有効性を把握することができる。

Claims (6)

  1. ネットワークに接続され、ユーザからのアクセスに応じて広告主の広告をオンラインで提供する情報処理システムにおいて、
    前記広告主につながるフリーダイヤルのアクセス番号を含む広告情報を記憶する広告情報記憶手段と、
    前記ネットワークを介してユーザ端末から前記広告情報のアクセス要求を受け取った時、前記広告情報記憶手段から前記広告情報を読み出し、該広告情報を前記ネットワークを介して該ユーザ端末に送信する通信手段と

    前記フリーダイヤルのアクセス番号に対するアクセスに関する第２のアクセス情報を受け取り、前記第１および第２のアクセス情報に含まれる日時の関係若しくはアクセスの数の少なくとも一方に基づいて解析を行って、解析結果を出力する解析手段と、
    を備え、
    前記通信手段は、前記広告情報を前記ユーザ端末に送信した時、前記第１のアクセス情報を前記ログ情報記憶手段に格納することを特徴とするオンライン広告システム。
  2. 前記ログ情報記憶手段は、前記広告情報に対する前記ユーザのアクセス日時の情報を含む前記第１のアクセス情報を記憶し、前記解析手段は、前記フリーダイヤルのアクセス番号に対するアクセス日時の情報を含む前記第２のアクセス情報を受け取り、該第１および第２のアクセス情報に含まれる日時の関係を解析することを特徴とする請求項１記載のオンライン広告システム。
  3. 前記解析手段は、前記第１のアクセス情報が指す広告情報の広告主と、前記第２のアクセス情報が指すアクセス番号に対応する広告主とが一致する時、前記日時の関係を解析することを特徴とする請求項２記載のオンライン広告システム。
  4. 前記解析手段は、前記第１のアクセス情報に含まれるアクセス日時から所定時間内に行われた前記アクセス番号に対するアクセスの数を求め、求めたアクセス数と前記第１のアクセス情報に含まれるアクセスの数とから、前記広告情報に対する有効なアクセスの割合を計算することを特徴とする請求項２記載のオンライン広告システム。
  5. 前記解析手段は、前記フリーダイヤルのアクセス番号の使用料金に関する課金情報に含まれる前記第２のアクセス情報を受け取ることを特徴とする請求項１記載のオンライン広告システム。
  6. 前記解析手段は、前記第１のアクセス情報に含まれるアクセスの数と前記第２のアクセス情報に含まれるアクセスの数とに基づいて、前記広告情報に対する有効なアクセスの割合を計算することを特徴とする請求項１記載のオンライン広告システム。
