710,971. Floors. REIMBERT, M. L. Nov. 26, 1951 [Nov. 27, 1950], No. 27673/51. Class 20 (4) A concrete floor supported by a set of parallel concrete beams depending from and integral with the floor is made by resting upon the upper edges of adjacent pairs of parallely arranged precast beams or beam shuttering a row of slabs having ribs parallel to and spaced from their side edges and transverse to the beams, and pouring concrete over the slabs and beams or shuttering. Ribbed slabs a constitute permanent shuttering for in situ concrete h in which reinforcements f, g may be embedded. The slab ribs may be of dovetailed cross-section. The slabs may be laid on the edges i of shuttering for beams, or the beams may be precast, Fig. 6, and the slabs laid on their edges. Stirrups protruding from the beams and projections of the reinforcements c may increase the bond between beams, slabs and floor concrete.
