Floors of reinforced-concrete girders side by side; joist floors with slab filling.-A floor of the type formed by placing reinforced concrete beams or slabs side by side on walls or joists, has channel-shaped members 2, made of expanded or perforated metal, placed in the bottoms of the spaces between the beams, to hold the cement 3 and form a key for the ceiling plaster 4. The members 2 may be sprung into place, or be supported at intervals by slings 5, and the bottoms only of the members 2 may be reticulated.
