Reinforced-concrete floors, roofs, and walls.- A reinforcement for floors, walls, roofs, &c., comprises a corrugated metallic sheet 1, Fig. 2, of rectilinear section, across the apices of which are secured metal cross-members 2 on both sides of the sheet. Metal lathing 6 may be secured tc one or both sides of the sheet by being welded between the sheet and the members 2. In the floor shown in Fig. 4, metal lathing is secured to the underside of the sheeting 1 to take plaster 8. Concrete 7 is poured into the valleys formed on the upper side. Loosely-fitting chairs 12 to support reinforcing rods 13 may be provided. In the construction shown in Fig. 6 a wall is provided with oppositely-disposed corrugated sheeting 1 joined together at their inner apices, the outer apices being bridged by the tie-rods 2. Fig. 8 shows a form of the invention for use in a partition, in which the depth of the corrugations is varied at intervals, as shown at 11. Plaster 8 is -applied to metal lathing provided on both sides of the partition. This form of reinforcement may be duplicated in a similar manner to that employed in the construction shown in Fig. 6, the recesses in the corrugations being filled with concrete.
