Walls; joist floors with slab filling; roofs; beams.-A building comprising slabs inserted in a metal framework has the stanchions, floor joists, and rafters, Figs. 3 and 4, formed with deep and shallow grooves on opposite sides, and with two, four, or eight flanges. The slabs are inserted sideways from the face of the structure, or endways in light roofs formed of a single thickness of slabs. Some of the bars may be Z-shaped. The slabs are reinforced with expanded metal, wire, or wire netting, which projects beyond the edges to key with the cement joints and bond the adjacent slabs.
