347,945. Floors ; reinforced concrete girders. FLACK, A. M., Imperial Buildings, Ludgate Circus, London.-(Naamlooze Vennootschap Octrooimaatschappij Cornic ; 17H, Jaagpad, Waddinxveen, Holland.) June 13, 1930, No. 18152. [Class 20 (iv).] Reinforced concrete girders 1 laid side by side are provided with transverse reinforcements 6, 7, 8 projecting from the flanges in addition to the usual longitudinal tension and compression reinforcements. Concrete 12 is then laid to embed the bars 6; other bars 11 may be added, and the remaining spaces between the girders are filled with concrete 4 to embed the bars 7, 8. Wooden flooring may be nailed to joists 15, or a top covering of concrete may be applied over the upper face or over slabs laid thereon.
