667,993. Reciprocating pumps. MOTORUNION, SPOJENE TOVARNY SPALOVACICH MOTORU, NARODNI PODNIK, and BOTTGER, J. March 13, 1950 [March 14, 1949], No. 6228/50. Class 102 (i) in a fuel pump, the piston 4 is actuated by a cam 11 through a roller 15 and is maintained in contact with the cam by a spring 5 that also engages a larger auxiliary piston 3 in a cylinder 21. The pumping space 2 is located between the two pistons and has an inlet valve 1 and 'a delivery valve 6. The space. 9 of cylinder 21 is connected by a passage 8 to a point beyond the delivery valve 6. When the piston 4 reciprocates at low speeds, the piston 3 oscillates and increases the delivery but the oscillations are gradually eliminated as the speed of piston 4 increases.
