Abstract
479,580. Timing ignition. BOHLI, J. May 27, 1937, No. 14706. Convention date. May 27, 1936. [Class 7 (iv)] Exhaust-pressure controls the time of ignition by acting from the manifold 1 through a filter 4 and chamber 6 on a pressure-responsive member 8 connected to the interrupter 14, 15. Connections 9, 12 controlled by a throttle 10 may also lead from either side of the member 8 to the engine intake 11. Restricted orifices 12a, 9a, 5a open into the chambers 6, 7. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, a servomotor may be interposed between the member 8 and the interrupter. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
