Abstract
450,735. Four-stroke-cycle engines. RAFAILOFF, V., 10, Passage Marly, Paris. Sept. 18, 1935, No. 25912. [Class 7 (ii)] An additional charge enters the cylinder at the end of each downstroke of the piston by way of the pipe 8 and cylinder ports controlled solely by the piston; the pipe 8 may either open directly into the atmosphere or be connected to a compressor and carburetter. Alternatively, fuel may be fed to a jet in the pipe between the compressor and cylinder-ports. Antidetonating substances may be fed through the ports.
