[Class 23] Gases with suspended dust or moisture are divided into thin streams by passage through a number of units each comprising a curved passage a for separating centrifugally the dust or moisture which passes through the perforated wall d into the passage f. Guide blades c are provided at the inlets to the separating passages a, and a number of units are nested together to form a structure having plane parallel faces at its inlet and outlet ends. The tops of the receiving passages f are closed, doors being provided if desired for cleaning purposes, and the bottoms communicate with hoppers. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 9, the separating passages a are provided with guide cores q.
