Abstract

Vacuum tubes.-A thermionic valve having two or more sets of electrodes connected together through coupling elements contains means such as electrodes for rectifying alternating current for supplying the anodes or filaments or both. Wave traps and choke coils may be mounted in the envelope. Rectified current for an anode may be provided by heating a cathode indirectly by alternating current. The Specification, as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a valve containing one set of electrodes and additional electrodes for supplying rectified current to the anode and filament. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
