Abstract
420,681. Thermionic valves. HEIL, O., 41, Reinhauser Landstrasse, G÷ttingen, Germany. June 6, 1933, No. 16222. Convention date, June 16, 1932. [Class 39 (i)] In a split anode magnetron for short-wave use having two anodes, two additional plane electrodes are arranged adjacent and symmetrical with respect to the cathode. In one form, two plane electrodes 15, 16 are arranged as closely as possible one on each side of the filament 12. A coil surrounding the tube produces a magnetic field parallel to the filament. The electrodes 15, 16 are operated at approximately the same potential as the anodes 13, 14 to which a Lecher - wire system is connected. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also tubes which are the subject-matter of Specification 420,802. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
