Abstract
520,623. Discharge apparatus. MULLARD RADIO VALVE CO., Ltd. June 22, 1939, No. 18267. Convention date, June 25, 1938. Drawings to Specification. [Class 39 (i)] In a discharge tube comprising an anode which is adapted to give a luminous indication of an applied voltage, the top of the bulb through which the anode is viewed is of reentrant form. The bulb may be pressed or blown to shape, and the re-entrant top may be curved or flat; in another form the bulb is of metal. The luminous anode may be of the usual dish-shaped form provided with a central cathode and a control electrode which is connected to the anode of an amplifying triode located within the bulb.
