[Class 39 (i)] In a magnetron oscillator as described in the Specification 491,444 the anode is of smaller cross-section in the portion immediately surrounding the cathode than elsewhere. For this purpose a conducting ring 38 of the cross-section shown may be arranged within the anode 7 to surround the cathode filament 39.
