533,342. Magnetrons. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Oct. 31, 1939, No] 29032. Convention date, Nov. 1, 1938. [Class 39 (i)] In a magnetron oscillator as described in the Specification 491,444 the anode is of smaller cross-section in the portion immediately surrounding the cathode than elsewhere. For this purpose a conducting ring 38 of the cross-section shown may be arranged within the anode 7 to surround the cathode filament 39.
