[Class 39 (i)] A reflecting electrode in a discharge tube is made of two or more curved parts D, the hollow side being directed towards the beam from the cathode K. Varying potentials applied to the parts cause the reflected beam to impinge on one or more anodes A1, A2. The meeting edges of the parts may be serrated. The subject-matter of this Specification is identical with that of Specification 553,181.
