Abstract

473,675. Cathode-ray tubes. ZEITLINE, V., ZEITLINE, A., and KLIATCHKO, V. April 18, 1936, No. 27589/37: Convention date, April 19, 1935. Divided out of 473,893. [Class 39 (i)] Two grids or nets are arranged, one between the two sets of deflecting plates and the other between the plates and the fluorescent screen, and both grids are connected to an electrode at constant potential between the cathode and the plates. As shown, a grid consisting of a cylindrical segment 12b and a plane portion 12a is connected to a similar grid 13 and to the first anode 3, to which one of the deflecting plates 4 is also connected. The centres of curvature of the curved portions may be the points about which the beam is deflected. A second anode 14 may be provided.
