Abstract
415,398. Thermionic cathodes. INTERNATIONAL GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Inc., 120, Broadway, New York, U.S.A.- (Assignees of Allgemeine Elektricitõts-Ges.; 2, Friedrich Karl-Ufer, Berlin.) Feb. 16, 1933, No. 4800. Convention date, Feb. 16, 1932. [Class 39 (i).] An indirectly heated cathode has a metal shell coated externally with an electron emitting substance and containing .a rod shaped insulator 2 having four or more longitudinal channels 5 parallel to the axis of the insulator for the reception of a heating wire 6, the axes of the channels lying on a surface parallel with the outer surface of the insulator, and no central channels being provided. The insulator may be of circular, elliptical or rectangular crosssection. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 371,419.
