Abstract

205,207. Murphy, J. July 14, 1922. Jet nozzles; nozzles with universal joints.-In order to adjust the direction of a jet of liquid issuing from a nozzle more particularly so as to arrange that the jets on an irrigation system shall be parallel, each nozzle comprises a tube 12 secured into a supply pipe 10, containing a ball-shaped plug 13 having a, through bore and retained in position by a nut 14. In a modification, a tubular nozzle is screwed into the ball 13. Specification 25956/07 is referred to.
