Abstract

204,796. Burton, A. E. July 13, 1922. Roses and perforated nozzles.-A device for spraying oil &c. particularly for use in carburetting water gas, of the kind comprising a series of concentric rings, having conical external surfaces, which are held in position by a tapering central plug or the like comprises a body A, internally threaded for attachment to a supply pipe, having rings C, E mounted therein on a tapered plug G, so that the conical external surfaces produce divergent jets. Parallel grooves B, D, F are provided through the rings for the passage of fluid. The shank of the plug G is screw-threaded and passes through a three-armed boss or spider H which bears on an internal flange a<3>. A nut J is provided for drawing the plug and rings tightly into position.
