Abstract

141,489. Bodycoat, W. E. March 27, 1919. Jet nozzles; devices for steadying flow.-An anti-splash device for fluid outlet nozzles comprises a block of glass or earthenware formed with a series of water passages. The passages C are preferably about # in. in diameter and about # in. in length. The block B is housed in a nozzle D provided with a rubber-lined socket, or may be formed integrally with or screwed to the spout F of a tap, as shown. According to the Provisional Specification, the block may be replaced by a bundle of tubes and a non-metallic perforated partition may be fitted above the block.
