Abstract
1326352 Water supply fittings for baths etc; ARMITAGE WARE Ltd 29 Oct 1970 [31 July 19691 38467/69 Heading A4N [Also in Division F2] A water supply fitting comprises two flexible tubes 35, preferably of polypropylene, connecting separately controlled hot and cold water supply valves 200 and 250 to angularly adjustable banjo unions 22, 25, which are connected via a tubular body 10 to a spout (19), Fig. 2 (not shown). Both banjo unions 22 and 25 fit closely around an inner tube 17 which projects from the lower end of an outer tube 10, and are secured in the desired positions by a nut 30. As described, the spout (19) is of the divided flow variety, the divisions of which are supplied separately, the one via the inner tube 17, a port 27 therein and the banjo union 25, the other via the annular space between tubes 10 and 17, and the banjo union 22. The invention is also applicable to single flow spouts. An isolating tube 20 accommodates an operating spindle 32 of a pop-up waste device of the type described in Specification 1302205.
