[Also in Division F2] In a mixing valve (see Division F2), a first liquid flows through a passage 48 which leads tangentially into a chamber 46 having outlets 50 while the second liquid flows through passage 44 and tube 53. The flow of the first liquid, which may be carbonated water, is smooth and on leaving the outlets 50 flows smoothly over the reverse curvature wall of spout 13 and mixes with the second liquid, which may be a syrup or concentrate.
