Abstract

273,416. Linaker, C. E. April 10, 1926. Disinfectant liquids and solids, delivering.-Apparatus for dissolving disinfectant, soap or other substance in water in flow, for instance in a hose pipe, comprises a cylindrical receptacle a, closed at one end by a fixed cap b formed with a nozzle c on which a rose d may be screwed when required, and closed at the other end by a detachable cap e connected to a tap g and hose connection h. A perforated pipe j extending longitudinally through the receptacle a is blocked at its centre portion by a plug o, and is fitted at one end with a plate k having a central aperture l and spacing lugs m. A block p of soap &c. is threaded on the pipe so as to be gradually dissolved by water passing through the apparatus. The plug o prevents direct passage of water through the pipe j.
