Abstract
5709. Pratt, H. April 16. Spray baths; bath supply fittings.-Consists in arranging the perforations of the spraying-device in such a way that an initial upward direction is given to the water as it issues from the spraying- means. In the form shown in Fig. 3, the spray pipe 6 is arranged as a handrail and is supplied with hot and cold water from the pipes 10, 11, cocks 8, 9, and a water-mixer 7. The cocks 8, 9 may be arranged vertically as shown in Fig. 3, or horizontally. In a modification, the spraying-pipe may be arranged below the rim outside the batb, and is then fitted with a number of roses which are secured within the bath to a number of branch tubes, connected to the spray pipe and passed through holes in the sides and end of the bath.
