Abstract

662,908. Spray-producers. HUMPHRIS, G. July 26, 1950 [Aug. 24, 1949] No. 21957/49. Class 69 (iii) A tube 2, screwed to a liquid or powder supply pipe 1, receives a screw 8 and a washer 9, the latter having radial corrugations 15 engaging with the end of the tube and with the screw head to form spray passages. The screw has fluid channels 12 or bores 13, 14, Fig. 3. The tube end may be corrugated and the upper surface of the washer plain or, by having one pair of mating surfaces plain, one jet only may be formed.
