Abstract

293,275. Paille, G. Regnac-. Aug. 15, 1927. Divided on 282,627. Spray burners.- Oil is supplied through a pipe 29 to a conduit formed in an axially adjustable oil nozzle 23 regulated by a needle valve 28. The delivery end of the nozzle opens into a converging - diverging passage 13 in a head 31 which enters the converging portion of a converging-diverging passage 30 in the delivery nozzle 14. Air is supplied through the connection 12, part passing through ports 33 and the passage 13 and part around the head 31. Adjustment of the nozzle 23 and head 31 is effected by an internally threaded hand wheel 21 which is restrained from axial movement by pins 20 engaging a groove in a part 18 of the burner casing.
