Abstract

286,357. Ward, E. G., and James, W. H. Dec. 1, 1926. Spray burners.-A spray burner comprises a cylindrical body A having a lateral air inlet B arranged between a removable cap A<1> at the rear end of the body and the nozzle C at the front end, and an open-ended tube D which is arranged concentrically in the body A and is provided with a lateral extension D' formed with an oil orifice D<2> controlled by an adjustable needle valve E. A valve J carried by an adjustable spindle L may be arranged at the nozzle end of the tube D and an auxiliary gas supply pipe B<2> may be arranged at the opposite end.
