Abstract

346,969. Atmospheric gas burners. REGENT MALLEABLE CASTINGS, Ltd., Salop Street, and DAVIES, A. E., 14, Wilkins Road, both in Bilston, Staffordshire. March 29, 1930, No. 10048. [Class 75 (i).] A gas injector for atmospheric burners comprises a fixed tubular member A having lateral openings C communicating with an adjustable screw cap F, co-operating with longitudinal tapering grooves E for varying the supply of gas, and uncontrolled openings B in the end wall. For large burners, further uncontrolled openings may be provided in the end wall of the screw cap F. The injector is screwed into the gas supply pipe and secured in an adjusted position by a lock-nut G. The Provisional Specification states also that the uncontrolled openings may be provided in the screw cap F only.
