Claims (31)
1. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial (10) för bildande av bilder med hjälp av en intensiv bildbildande strälning 5 (22) kännetecknat därav, att det omfattar ett underlag (12) som släpper igenorn nämnda strälning, omfattande ett bildbildande skikt (14), hos vilket ätminstone ytskiktet kan överföras i vätskeform och bringas i flytande form vid ett pä förhand förhöjt tempe-10 raturinterval1; ett pä nämnda bildbildande skikt (14) enhetligt anbragt poröst eller av partiklar bestäende skikt (16) av bildbildande material (18); varvid det termiska avbildningsmaterialet (10) f ör-15 mär att snabbt absorbera strälning i det bildbildande skiktet (14) och i gränsytan hos eller i närheten av det porösa eller av partiklar bestäende skiktet av bildbildande material (16) och förmär omvandla den absorberade ener-gin tili värmeenergi, som förmär överföra det bildbildande 20 skiktet (14) i vätskeform vid ett förutbestämt förhöjt temperaturintervall; varvid det i det i vätskeform överförda ytskiktet förekommer kapillarströmning tili de närbelägna delarna av det bildbildande materialet (18) varvid skiktet av bild-25 bildande material (16) väsentligen förankras tili underla-get (12) dä det bildbildande skiktet svalnar, varvid ytskiktet omfattar ett polymert material som kan överföras i vätskeform och stelna inom kort tid.
2. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 30 1, kännetecknat därav, att kohesionskraften hos det av bildbildande material (18) bestäende porösa eller av partiklar bestäende skiktet (16) är större än adhesionskraften mellan det bildbildande materialet (18) och det bildbildande skiktet.
3. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 2, kännetecknat därav, att underlaget (12) är II 94108 en självbärande skiva vars tjocklek är on ca 1 - ca 100 μπι.
4. Teriniskt avbildningsraaterial enligt patentkrav 3, kännetecknat därav, att underlaget (12) 5 innehäller ett termoplastiskt material i vars ytstruktur, dä det befinner sig vid temperaturer pä ca 400°C, sker en brant minskning av viskositeten frän värdet ca 1013 Pa.s tili ca 0,001 Pa.s.
5. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 10 4, kännetecknat därav, att underlaget (12) innehäller polyetylentereftaiat, polystyren, polypropen, polyeten, en kopolymer av styren och akrylnitril, poly-vinylklorid, polykarbonat eller vinylidenklorid.
6. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 15 4, kännetecknat därav, att underlaget (12) pä den ytan som befinner sig pä motsatt sida om det bildbil-dande skiktet (14) är försett med ett pappersskikt.
7. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 4, kännetecknat därav, att underlaget (12) är 20 försett med ett undre överdrag (12b?) av polystyren eller en kolopymer av styren och akrylnitril.
8. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat därav, att det av porösa eller av partiklar bestäende skiktet (16) hos det bildbil- 25 dande materialet (18) innehäller pigment.
9. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 8, kännetecknat därav, att tjockleken hos det av porösa eller av partiklar bestäende skiktet (16) hos det bildbildande materialet (18) är ca 0,1 - ca 10 pm.
10. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav ·. 9, kännetecknat därav, att pigmentet omf attar kolsvärta vars partikelstorlek är ca 0,1 - ca 10 pm.
11. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 9, kännetecknat därav, att pigmentet omfattar 35 grafit. 94108
12. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 9, kännetecknat därav, att pigmentet omfattar ett ftalocyaninpigment.
13. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 5 10, kännetecknat därav, att kolsvärtan inne- häller ett ytaktivt ämne.
14. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 13, kännetecknat därav, att det ytaktiva äm-net omfattar ammoniumperfluoralkylsulfonat.
15. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 10, kännetecknat därav, att kolsvärtan inne-häller blndemedel för att göra det bildbildande materialet sammanhängande.
16. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 15 15, kännetecknat därav, att bindemedlet är polyetyloxazolin, gelatin, polyvinylalkohol, gummi arabi-cum, metylcellulosa, polyvinylpyrrolidon eller polystyren-latex.
17. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 20 9, kännetecknat därav, att skiktet av det bildbildande materialet (16) innehäller polytetrafluorety-len.
18. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 16, kännetecknat därav, att viktförhällandet 25 mellan polytetrafluoretylen och pigment ca 1:2 - ca 1:20.
19. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 9, kännetecknat därav, att skiktet av det bildbildande materialet (16) innehäller kitin.
20. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 30 9, kännetecknat därav, att skiktet av det . bildbildande material (16) innehäller polyamid.

Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 20, kännetecknat därav, att det av porösa eller av partiklar bestäende skiktet (16) hos det bild- 35 bildande materialet (18) innehäller pigment och bindemedel II 941 08 för att binda pigmentet, varvid förhällandet mellan pigment och bindemedel är ca 40:1 - ca 1:2.
22. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 21, kännetecknat därav, att förhällandet är 5 ca 5:1.
23. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat därav, att det dessutom om-fattar ett avdragbart skikt (24) anbragt pä det bildbil-dande materialskiktet (16) pä dess i förhällande tili un- 10 derlaget (12) motsatta yta.
24. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 23, kännetecknat därav, att det avdragbara skiktet (24e) omfattar en polymerskiva vars yta är belagd med trycksensitivt lim (24e').
25. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 23, kännetecknat därav, att det avdragbara skiktet (24b) omfattar karboxylerat etylenvinylacetat, po-lyvinylacetat, en kopolymer av karboxylerat etylenvinylacetat och polyvinylacetat, och ett papper (24b') belagt 20 med etylenvinylacetat.
26. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 23, kännetecknat därav, att det dessutom om-fattar ett Överdrag (24b1) som ökar abrasionsresistansen hos det bildbildande materialskiktet (16b) anbragt mellan 25 det avdragbara skiktet (24b) och det bildbildande materialskiktet.
27. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 26, kännetecknat därav, att det abrasionsresistansen ökande överdraget (24b') omfattar mikrokristal- 30 linskt vax.
