Claims (31)

1. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial (10) för bildande av bilder med hjälp av en intensiv bildbildande strälning 5 (22) kännetecknat därav, att det omfattar ett underlag (12) som släpper igenorn nämnda strälning, omfattande ett bildbildande skikt (14), hos vilket ätminstone ytskiktet kan överföras i vätskeform och bringas i flytande form vid ett pä förhand förhöjt tempe-10 raturinterval1; ett pä nämnda bildbildande skikt (14) enhetligt anbragt poröst eller av partiklar bestäende skikt (16) av bildbildande material (18); varvid det termiska avbildningsmaterialet (10) f ör-15 mär att snabbt absorbera strälning i det bildbildande skiktet (14) och i gränsytan hos eller i närheten av det porösa eller av partiklar bestäende skiktet av bildbildande material (16) och förmär omvandla den absorberade ener-gin tili värmeenergi, som förmär överföra det bildbildande 20 skiktet (14) i vätskeform vid ett förutbestämt förhöjt temperaturintervall; varvid det i det i vätskeform överförda ytskiktet förekommer kapillarströmning tili de närbelägna delarna av det bildbildande materialet (18) varvid skiktet av bild-25 bildande material (16) väsentligen förankras tili underla-get (12) dä det bildbildande skiktet svalnar, varvid ytskiktet omfattar ett polymert material som kan överföras i vätskeform och stelna inom kort tid.
2. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 30 1, kännetecknat därav, att kohesionskraften hos det av bildbildande material (18) bestäende porösa eller av partiklar bestäende skiktet (16) är större än adhesionskraften mellan det bildbildande materialet (18) och det bildbildande skiktet.
3. Termiskt avbildningsmaterial enligt patentkrav 2, kännetecknat därav, att underlaget (12) är II 94108 en självbärande skiva vars tjocklek är on ca 1 - ca 100 μπι.
4. Teriniskt avbildningsraaterial enligt patentkrav 3, kännetecknat därav, att underlaget (12) 5 innehäller ett termoplastiskt material i vars ytstruktur, dä det befinner sig vid temperaturer pä ca 400°C, sker en brant minskning av viskositeten frän värdet ca 1013 Pa.s tili ca 0,001 Pa.s.
