Description

    TECHNISCHES GEBIET
  • Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Kontaktelement zur Vermittlung eines elektrischen Kontaktes zwischen zwei Kontaktstücken gemäss dem Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1.
  • STAND DER TECHNIK
  • Aus dem Stand der Technik sind Kontaktelemente, die auch als Kontaktlamellen bezeichnet werden können, bekannt geworden. Beispielsweise zeigt die EP 0 716 474 eine Kontaktelement, das ein einteiliges sich entlang einer Längsrichtung erstreckendes Kontaktband umfasst, mit welchem zwei gegenüberliegende Kontaktflächen elektrisch kontaktierbar sind. Das Kontaktband lässt sich in seiner Länge leicht verformen, so dass dieses einfach einbaubar ist.
  • Auch wenn die Verformung des Kontaktbandes beim Einbau sehr vorteilhaft ist, weist die Kontaktlamelle nach der EP 0 716 474 einige Nachteile auf.
  • Einerseits ist die Skalierbarkeit bezüglich der zu übertragenen elektrischen Ströme sehr begrenzt. Typischerweise geht eine Vergrösserung des Stromes auch eine Vergrösserung des Querschnittes des Kontaktelementes einher. Eine derartige Skalierung ist nicht ohne weiteres möglich, weil ansonsten vorteilhafte Eigenschaften verloren gehen. Beispielsweise wird das Kontaktelement bei einer Vergrösserung steifer.
  • Andererseits kann die mechanische Steckraft im Falle eines Einsatzes der Lamelle in einer Buchsen- oder Stecker-Verbindung nur geringfügig beeinflusst werden.
  • Darüber hinaus ist auch der Einsatzbereich bzw. Einfederbereich bezüglich den geometrischen Abmessung zwischen den beiden Kontaktflächen eingeschränkt. US 7 078 614 B1 offenbart ein Kontaktelement gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Ähnliche Kontaktelemente sind aus EP 1 119 077 A1 , WO 2008/092284 A1 , US 8 821 170 B1 bekannt.
  • DARSTELLUNG DER ERFINDUNG
  • Ausgehend von diesem Stand der Technik liegt der Erfindung eine Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Kontaktelement anzugeben, welches die Nachteile des Standes der Technik überwindet. Insbesondere soll das Kontaktelement einfacher für verschiedene Anwendungen konfigurierbar sein.
  • Diese Aufgabe löst ein Kontaktelement nach Anspruch 1. Demgemäss umfasst ein Kontaktelement zur Vermittlung eines elektrischen Kontaktes zwischen zwei Kontaktstücken ein sich in Längsrichtung erstreckendes Trägerband und eine Mehrzahl von Kontaktteilen, die mit dem Trägerband in Verbindung stehen. Die Kontaktteile umfassen jeweils mindestens einen ersten Kontaktabschnitt zur Kontaktierung eines der beiden Kontaktstücke, mindestens einen zweiten Kontaktabschnitt zur Kontaktierung des anderen der beiden Kontaktstücke, sowie mindestens einen Befestigungsabschnitt zur Befestigung des Kontaktteils am Trägerband. Über den Befestigungsabschnitt werden die Kontaktteile an einer Befestigungsstelle mit dem Trägerband verbunden. Eine Linie erstreckt sich in Längsrichtung durch das Trägerband hindurch. Die Linie ist vorzugsweise eine mittig im Trägerband liegende Linie. Die Kontaktteile liegen derart zum Trägerband, dass die Kontaktteile um eine Schwenklinie verschwenkt werden bzw. verschwenkbar sind. Die Schwenklinie liegt in einem Winkel von kleiner als 30° winklig geneigt, insbesondere im Wesentlichen parallel, zur besagten Linie.
  • Der Winkel ist also im Bereich von 0° bis 30°. Unter einer im Wesentlichen parallel liegende Schwenklinie wird verstanden, dass die Schwenklinie genau parallel oder mit einem kleinen Winkel von bis 0° oder bis zu 5° zur Linie liegt. Dabei verlaufen die Schwenklinien von einzelnen Kontaktteilen untereinander parallel aber nicht kollinear.
  • Durch diese Ausbildung federn die Kontaktteile im Wesentlichen parallel zur Steckrichtung ein. Die besagte Schwenklinie liegt vorzugsweise orthogonal zur Steckrichtung.
  • Mit anderen Worten ist die wesentliche Orientierung des Kontaktteils vorzugsweise quer zur Längsrichtung. Hierdurch wird bei einem Kontaktvorgang erreicht, dass sich das Kontaktteil bei einer Kontaktbewegung um die Schwenklinie verschwenkt, welche in Einbaulage rechtwinklig zur Steckrichtung orientiert ist.
  • Bei einem Kontaktvorgang wird durch die Orientierung der Kontaktteile quer zum Trägerband erreicht, dass sich das Kontaktteil bei einer Kontaktbewegung um die Schwenklinie verschwenkt, welche in Einbaulage rechtwinklig zur Steckrichtung orientiert ist.
  • Durch die Anordnung der Kontaktteile, so dass die beschriebene Art der Verschwenkung ermöglicht wird, werden die Kontaktteile beim Einbau im Wesentlichen in Steckrichtung verschwenkt, wodurch die Belastung für das Trägerband geringer ist. Darüber hinaus ist das Kontaktelement für die Steckverbindung einfacher dimensionierbar. Insbesondere sind die Kontaktteile unabhängig und frei vom Trägerband dimensionierbar. Besonders bevorzugt kann der Querschnitt von den Kontaktteilen sehr einfach verändert werden.
  • Je nach Einbaulage erstreckt sich das Trägerband zylindrisch um eine Mittelachse, wobei dann sich die Linie und die Schwenklinie ebenfalls zylindrisch um die Mittelachse erstrecken. In diesem Zusammenhang ist die Ausdrucksweise, dass die Linie und die Schwenklinie parallel sind, dahingehend zu verstehen, dass die zylindrisch umlaufende Linie und die zylindrisch umlaufende Schwenklinie in parallelen Ebenen, die quer zur Mittelachse stehen, liegen. Diese Ausgestaltung der Einbaulage tritt beispielsweise bei einer Buchsen- und Steckerverbindung auf.
  • Durch die Anordnung der Kontaktteile, welche für die eigentliche elektrische Kontaktvermittlung zuständig sind, kann ein definierter elektrischer Kontakt zwischen den beiden Kontaktstücken erreicht werden. Des Weiteren werden bei einer Verformung des Trägerbandes beim Kontaktvorgang nicht die Kontaktteile, die für den elektrischen Kontakt vorgesehen sind, verformt und dadurch negativ beeinflusst, sondern es wird das Trägerband mechanisch verformt.
  • Vorzugsweise bewegt sich das Kontaktteil während der Verschwenkung um die Schwenklinie relativ auf der Kontaktfläche des entsprechenden Kontaktstückes, wobei die Bewegung quer zur Schwenklinie verläuft. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine kombinierte Bewegung des Kontaktteils, welche Bewegung sich aus der Schwenkbewegung und aus der Bewegung auf der Kontaktfläche zusammensetzt.
  • Vorzugsweise liegt der zweite Kontaktabschnitt im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnittes. Weiter ist das Kontaktteil im zweiten Kontaktabschnitt mit einer Rundung ausgebildet, welche Rundung sich um eine Rundungsachse, die parallel zur Längsrichtung verläuft, erstreckt. Die Rundungsachse und die Schwenklinie verlaufen mindestens über die Breite des Kontaktteils im Wesentlichen kollinear zueinander.
  • Vorzugsweise rollt der zweite Kontaktabschnitt mit seiner Rundung auf der Kontaktfläche ab und ist optional bezüglich der Kontaktfläche verschiebbar ausgebildet.
  • Vorzugsweise weist das Trägerband über seine Länge in Längsrichtung einen im Wesentlichen konstanten Querschnitt auf und ist in Längsrichtung gesehen im Wesentlichen starr. Unter der Ausdrucksweise starr wird verstanden, dass keine Mittel am Trägerband vorgesehen sind, welche bei geringerer Krafteinwirkung eine grössere Längenänderung erlauben würden. Das Trägerband hat aber elastische Eigenschaften, welche das Einfedern der Kontaktteile erlaubt.
  • Alternativ ist das sich in Längsrichtung erstreckende Trägerband derart ausgebildet, dass bei Anlegen einer Kraft auf das Trägerband sich die Länge des Trägerbandes in Längsrichtung verändert.
  • Vorzugsweise ist das Trägerband aus einem flachen Band ausgebildet, dessen Dicke um ein Vielfaches kleiner ist als dessen Breite. Der Querschnitt des flachen Bandes ist vorzugsweise rechteckig.
  • Die Befestigungsstellen liegen vorzugsweise im Randbereich des Trägerbandes. Mit anderen Worten gesagt liegen die Befestigungsstellen am Aussenrand des Trägerbandes.
  • Das Trägerband kann aber auch anders ausgebildet sein. Beispielsweise können die Befestigungsabschnitte als von einem rechteckigen Band abstehende Befestigungslaschen ausgebildet sein.
  • In einer Ausführung sind beidseitig zum Trägerband Kontaktteile angeordnet. In einer anderen Ausführung sind einseitig zum Trägerband Kontaktteile angeordnet.
  • Vorzugsweise erstrecken sich die Kontaktteile von der jeweiligen Befestigungsstelle, mit der das entsprechende Kontaktteil mit dem Trägerband in Verbindung steht, sich über die Linie, welche sich in Längsrichtung erstreckt, hinweg. Das heisst, dass die Kontakteile quer zur Linie, die Linie überragen. In diesem Zusammenhang ist die Linie vorzugsweise eine Mittellinie.
  • Vorzugsweise sind beidseitig zum Trägerband Kontaktteile angeordnet, wobei zwischen zwei benachbart auf der gleichen Seite angeordnete Kontaktteile ein Zwischenraum vorhanden ist, in welchen ein auf der anderen Seite angeordnetes Kontaktteil einragen kann.
  • Vorzugsweise erstreckt sich ein zweites Kontaktteil in den zwischen zwei benachbarten ersten Kontaktteilen liegenden Zwischenraum hinein und ein erstes Kontaktteil erstreckt sich in den zwischen zwei benachbarten zweiten Kontaktteilen liegenden Zwischenraum hinein.
  • Mit anderen Worten gesagt sind die Kontaktteile verschränkt zueinander angeordnet.
  • Vorzugsweise sind bezüglich der Linie, insbesondere der Mittellinie, links und rechts davon Kontaktteile angeordnet. In diesem Zusammenhang kann bezüglich des Trägerbandes von einer linken und einer rechten Seite gesprochen werden, wobei ein Kontaktteil mit der rechten Seite und ein anderes Kontaktteil mit der linken Seite in Verbindung steht. Die Kontaktteile sind entlang der Linie, insbesondere der Mittellinie gesehen versetzt zueinander angeordnet.
  • Vorzugsweise ist das mit der rechten Seite des Trägerbandes in Verbindung stehende erste Kontaktteil mit seinem ersten Kontaktabschnitt zu dem mit der linken Seite des Trägerbandes in Verbindung stehenden zweiten Kontaktteil hin orientiert und/oder das mit der linken Seite des Trägerbandes in Verbindung stehende zweite Kontaktteil mit seinem ersten Kontaktabschnitt zu dem mit der rechten Seite des Trägerbandes in Verbindung stehenden ersten Kontaktteil hin orientiert.
  • Vorzugsweise umfasst das sich in Längsrichtung erstreckende Trägerband eine Mehrzahl von in Längsrichtung mit einem Abstand beabstandet zueinander angeordnete Befestigungsstellen, so dass in Längsrichtung gesehen eine Mehrzahl von Kontakteilen angeordnet sind. Die Kontaktteile sind mit dem Befestigungsabschnitt zur Befestigung des Kontaktteils an einer Befestigungsstelle befestigt.
  • Die Kontaktteile sind separat vom Trägerband ausgebildet und werden über den Befestigungsabschnitt fest mit dem Trägerband verbunden. Das Kontaktteil steht vorzugsweise über eine mechanische Verbindung mit dem Trägerband in Verbindung. Das Kontaktteil kann formschlüssig und/oder stoffschlüssig und/oder kraftschlüssig mit dem Trägerband in Verbindung stehen. Der Befestigungsabschnitt des Kontaktteils und das Trägerband bzw. die Befestigungsstellen des Trägerbandes weisen entsprechende Elemente auf, welche die Befestigung ermöglichen.
  • Das Material des Trägerbandes ist vorzugsweise unterschiedlich zum Material des Kontaktteils. Das Material des Trägerbandes weist bevorzugt gute elastische Verformungseigenschaften auf, so dass das Einfedern der Kontaktteile gewährleistet ist, und das Material des Kontaktteils weist bevorzugt eine gute elektrische Leitfähigkeit auf.
  • Das Material des Trägerbandes ist vorzugsweise aus Metall, insbesondere Stahl, besondere bevorzugt Federstahl oder nicht-rostender Federstahl. Das Material des Kontaktteils ist vorzugsweise aus Kupfer oder Legierungen davon. Vorzugsweise ist das Kontaktteil mit einer den elektrischen Kontakt verbessernden Beschichtung versehen. Beispielsweise durch eine Silberbeschichtung.
  • Vorzugsweise wird das Trägerband durch einen Blechstreifen, der insbesondere mittels eines Stanzvorgangs oder Laserschneidens geformt wird, hergestellt. Der Blechstreifen kann aber auch anderweitig hergestellt werden.
  • Vorzugsweise erstreckt sich das erste Kontaktteil von seiner Befestigungsstelle her gesehen derart, dass der erste Kontaktabschnitt quer zur Längsrichtung gesehen sich über ein zweites Kontaktteil hinweg erstreckt, derart, dass bei einer Kontaktbewegung von der Seite des zweiten Kontaktteils zuerst das erste Kontaktteil durch das Kontaktstück kontaktiert wird.
  • Hierdurch kann eine besonders gute Kontaktierung der Kontakteile erreicht werden. Darüber hinaus kann die Kompaktheit des Kontaktelementes erhöht werden.
  • Gleichermassen sind vorzugsweise die zweiten Kontaktteile angeordnet, deren zweiter Kontaktabschnitt quer zur Längsrichtung gesehen sich über ein erstes Kontaktteil hinweg erstreckt, derart, dass bei einer Kontaktbewegung von der Seite des ersten Kontaktelementes zuerst das zweite Kontaktelement durch das Kontaktstück kontaktiert wird.
  • Vorzugsweise ist das Trägerband um eine zwischen den Befestigungsstellen liegende Linie gebogen, insbesondere gekrümmt und/oder einfach gebogen und/oder mehrfach gebogen ausgebildet, so dass die Oberfläche der Befestigungsstellen, die auf einer Seite der Linie angeordnet sind, winklig geneigt zur Oberfläche der Befestigungsstellen, die auf der anderen Seite der Linie angeordnet sind, liegen.
  • Mit anderen Worten gesagt: Im Querschnitt rechtwinklig zur Linie gesehen erstrecken sich die Befestigungsstellen winklig geneigt zu einem Mittelbereich des Trägerbandes.
  • Durch die gebogene Ausbildung wirkt das Trägerband als Federelement, derart, dass das jeweilige Kontaktelement um seinen zweiten Kontaktabschnitt von einer Ausgangslage in eine Kontaktlage verschwenkbar ist.
  • Mit anderen Worten: Vorzugsweise weist das Trägerband mindestens eine sich parallel zur Längsrichtung erstreckende Biegelinie auf, wobei die Befestigungsstellen bezüglich einer Ebene, welche durch die Längsrichtung und eine quer dazu liegende Querachse aufgespannt sind, von der Biegelinie an mit einem Winkel winklig geneigt verlaufen, derart, dass die Kontaktteile winklig geneigt zu den besagten Kontaktflächen der Kontaktstücke bzw. zur besagten Ebene liegen.
  • In einer Variante ist das Trägerband mit einer Krümmung ausgebildet. Folglich erstreckt sich das Trägerband zwischen den Befestigungsstellen als Krümmung von Befestigungsstelle zu Befestigungsstelle. Das Trägerband ist vorzugsweise um die in Richtung der Längsachse verlaufende Linie gekrümmt ausgebildet. Der Radius der Krümmung ist vorteilhafterweise je nach Einbausituation grösstmöglich gewählt.
  • In einer anderen Variante sind pro Seite zwei Biegelinien angeordnet. Die beiden Biegelinien liegen beabstandet zueinander und sind vorzugsweise symmetrisch, also in gleichem Abstand, zu einer mittig zwischen den beiden Befestigungsstellen liegenden Linie platziert.
  • Die Biegelinien können gerundet oder als scharfe Ecken ausgebildet sein.
  • Durch die gebogene oder mehrfache gebogene Ausbildung des Steges kann auch gesagt werden, dass das Trägerband im Querschnitt quer zur Längsrichtung V-förmig oder U-förmig oder trapezförmig oder halbkreisförmig ausgebildet ist.
  • Vorzugsweise bildet der erste Kontaktabschnitt bezüglich des Trägerbandes ein freies Ende und steht bzw. ragt vom Trägerband weg. Der erste Kontaktabschnitt liegt also mindestens in der Ausgangslage, also im nicht-eingefederten Zustand, nicht auf dem Trägerband auf. In der Kontaktlage kann der erste Kontaktabschnitt, je nach Ausgestaltung, aber mit dem Trägerband in Kontakt kommen. Im eingefederten Zustand, also in Kontaktlage, kann das freie Ende durch eine Ausnehmung im Trägerband durch das Trägerband hindurch ragen. Die Ausnehmung wird durch den Zwischenbereich zwischen zwei Stegen bereitgestellt.
  • Vorzugsweise liegt der zweite Kontaktabschnitt im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnittes, welcher Befestigungsabschnitt mit der Befestigungsstelle in fester Verbindung steht. Alternativ ist der Befestigungsabschnitt zwischen dem ersten Kontaktabschnitt und dem zweiten Kontaktabschnitt angeordnet, wobei beide Kontaktabschnitte als freie Enden vom Trägerband mindestens im nicht-eingefederten Zustand weg ragen bzw. von diesem weg stehen.
  • Vorzugsweise ist das Kontaktteil im ersten Kontaktabschnitt mit einer Rundung ausgebildet, welche Rundung sich um eine Rundungsachse, die parallel zur Längsrichtung verläuft, erstreckt, und/oder dass das Kontaktteil im zweiten Kontaktabschnitt mit einer Rundung ausgebildet ist, welche Rundung sich um eine Rundungsachse, die parallel zur Längsrichtung verläuft, erstreckt. Durch die Rundungen kann die benötigte Steckkraft optimiert werden.
  • Die Rundungsradien können auf die Kontaktsituation angepasst werden.
  • Unter einer Rundung kann eine Rundung mit konstantem Radius oder nicht-konstantem Radius oder ein n-Eck oder ein Polygonzug verstanden werden.
  • Vorzugsweise liegt der zweite Kontaktabschnitt des Kontaktteils derart zum Trägerband, dass das Trägerband und ggf. die Niete in der Kontaktlage nicht mit dem Kontaktstück in Verbindung kommt. Beispielsweise kann der zweite Kontaktabschnitt von der Unterseite des Verbindungsabschnittes, der auf dem Trägerband aufliegt, abgesetzt oder abgekröpft sein. Der zweite Kontaktabschnitt kann also Teil einer Erhebung bezüglich des Befestigungsabschnittes sein.
  • Vorzugsweise ist der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnittes grösser als der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils im Bereich des ersten Kontaktabschnittes. Der Querschnitt des ersten Kontaktabschnittes ist also bezüglich des Befestigungsabschnittes verjüngt ausgebildet. Alternativ oder zusätzlich ist der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnittes grösser als der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils im Bereich des zweiten Kontaktabschnittest. Alternativ kann der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnittes im Wesentlichen gleich zum Querschnitt im Bereich des zweiten Kontaktabschnittes sein.
  • Das Kontaktteil kann also abschnittsweise tailliert ausgebildet sein.
  • Hierdurch kann unter optimierten Materialeinsatz eine gute Lagerung des Befestigungsabschnittes an der Befestigungsstelle erreicht werden.
  • Besonders bevorzugt verjüngt sich das Kontaktteil vom Befestigungsabschnitt zum ersten Kontaktabschnitt hin.
  • Wie oben erläutert wird das Kontaktteil über den Befestigungsabschnitt an der Befestigungsstelle des Trägerbandes befestigt. Der Befestigungsabschnitt kann dabei verschiedenartig ausgebildet sein.
  • In einer ersten Ausführungsform ist das Kontaktteil mit dem Befestigungsabschnitt mit mindestens einem plastisch umformbaren Verbindungselement, insbesondere einer Niete, mit der Befestigungsstelle verbunden, wobei das mindestens eine Verbindungselement dem Kontaktteil einstückig angeformt ist. Das Verbindungselement, insbesondere die Niete, ist also integraler Bestandteil des Kontaktteils.
  • Vorzugsweise sind mehrere Verbindungselemente bzw. Nieten, insbesondere mindestens zwei davon, angeordnet.
  • Die Verbindungselemente bzw. Nieten erstrecken sich dabei von einer Unterseite des Kontaktteils, die dem Trägerband zugewandt ist weg, ragen durch Durchbrüche in der Befestigungsstelle und werden auf der Seite des Trägerbandes gegenüber von der Auflage des Kontaktteils plastisch verformt.
  • Unterstützend zur plastischen Verformung kann das Verbindungselement bzw. die Niete auch noch geschweisst werden.
  • Vorzugsweise weist das mindestens eine Verbindungselement bzw. die Niete einen kreisrunden oder einen ovalen oder einen polygonartigen oder einen n-eckigen Querschnitt auf. Besonders bevorzugt weist das mindestens eine Verbindungselement einen Querschnitt auf, der zu einem Langloch komplementär ist. Das heisst, der Querschnitt hat im Wesentlichen die Gestalt eines Rechtecks, wobei zwei gegenüberliegende Seitenkanten gerundet ausgebildet sind.
  • In einer zweiten und dritten Ausführungsform ist das Kontaktteil im Befestigungsabschnitt mit mindestens einer Niete mit der Befestigungsstelle verbunden. Die Niete ragt durch den Befestigungsabschnitt und die Befestigungsstelle des Trägerbandes hindurch.
  • Für die Aufnahme der Niete in der zweiten und dritten Ausführungsform ist es vorteilhaft, wenn bei der Herstellung der Kontaktteile und des Trägerbandes an den entsprechenden Stellen, also im Befestigungsabschnitt und in der Befestigungsstelle bereits Durchbrüche vorgefertigt werden. Die Niete erstreckt sich also durch einen Durchbruch in der Befestigungsstelle und einen Durchbruch im Befestigungsabschnitt. Die Zahl der Durchbrüche entspricht der Zahl der Nieten.
  • Vorzugsweise ist die Niete nach der zweiten Ausführungsform zwischen dem ersten Kontaktabschnitt und dem zweiten Kontaktabschnitt angeordnet.
  • Vorzugsweise sind nach der dritten Ausführungsform die Nieten aus einem elektrisch leitenden Material ausgeführt und stehen elektrisch leitend mit dem Kontaktteil in Verbindung stehen. Weiter kann durch die Niete der besagte zweite Kontaktabschnitt des Kontaktteils bereitgestellt werden.
  • Auch die Niete der ersten Ausführungsform könnte derart ausgebildet sein, dass diese den besagten zweiten Kontaktabschnitt bereitstellt.
  • Zusätzlich könnte die Verbindung gemäss der ersten, zweiten und dritten Ausführungsform zwischen Niete und Befestigungsabschnitt sowie Befestigungsstelle noch durch eine Schweissverbindung oder durch eine Lötverbindung unterstützt werden.
  • Nach einer vierten Ausführungsform umgibt das Kontaktteil mit dem Befestigungsabschnitt für die Befestigung an der Befestigungsstelle die Befestigungsstelle mindestens teilweise oder ganz. Die Befestigungsstelle wird also durch den Befestigungsabschnitt mindestens teilweise umgeben, das heisst, dass sich der Befestigungsabschnitt mindestens teilweise um die Befestigungsstelle herum erstreckt.
  • Bevorzugt ist in dieser vierten Ausführungsform, dass eine äussere, parallel zur Längsrichtung verlaufende Kante der Befestigungsstelle und sich daran anschliessende Oberflächen der Befestigungsstelle durch das Kontaktteil mindestens teilweise umgeben bzw. ganz umgeben werden.
  • Der zweite Kontaktabschnitt erstreckt sich im vorliegenden Fall im Wesentlichen um die besagte Kante herum.
  • Mit anderen Worten gesagt wird das Kontaktteil mit der Befestigungsstelle über eine Art Crimpverbindung verbunden. Es handelt sich dabei um eine kraftschlüssige und/oder formschlüssige Verbindung. Die Crimpverbindung kann zusätzlich noch über Löt- oder Schweissverbindung verstärkt werden.
  • In einer fünften Variante ist das Kontaktteil mit mindestens einem Klipelement zur Befestigungsstelle befestigt.
  • Das Klipelement ist vorzugsweise im Bereich eines Schlitzes, der sich in den zweiten Kontaktabschnitt hineinerstreckt platziert.
  • Das Klipelement kann weiter Widerhaken aufweisen, welche sich mit dem Kontaktteil und der Befestigungsstelle verhaken.
  • In einer Weiterbildung des Kontaktelementes nach obiger Beschreibung sind die Enden des Trägerbandes miteinander verbunden, so dass ein sich um eine Mittelachse herum erstreckendes Kontaktelement resultiert, wobei die beiden Enden vorzugsweise mit einem der besagten Kontaktteile verbunden sind oder wobei die Enden mit einem separaten Element miteinander verbunden sind. Es entsteht also ein Ring.
  • Je nach Orientierung liegen die Kontaktteile innerhalb des Trägerbandes oder ausserhalb des Trägerbandes.
  • Eine Anordnung eines oben beschriebenen Kontaktelementes sowie einem ersten Kontaktstück und einem zweiten Kontaktstück, ist dahingehend gekennzeichnet, dass das Kontaktelement mit seinem ersten Kontaktabschnitt am ersten Kontaktstück und mit dem zweiten Kontaktabschnitt am zweiten Kontaktstück anliegt.
  • Nach einer Weiterbildung der Anordnung ist das erste Kontaktstück ein sich um eine Mittelachse herum erstreckendes Buchsenteil und das zweite Kontaktstück ein sich um die Mittelachse herum erstreckendes Stiftteil, wobei das Trägerband sich um die Mittelachse herum erstreckt und wobei die Längsrichtung quer zur Mittelachse liegt und sich um diese herum erstreckt und wobei die Schwenklinie sich um die Mittelachse von Buchsenteil bzw. Stiftteil herum erstreckt.
  • Vorzugsweise sind die Kontaktteile mit den jeweils ersten Kontaktabschnitten mit dem ersten Kontaktstück in Kontakt bringbar und die Kontaktteile stehen mit den jeweils zweiten Kontaktabschnitten mit dem zweiten Kontaktstück in Kontakt, wobei bei einer Kontaktbewegung der Abstand zwischen den gegenüberliegenden zweiten Kontaktstücken vergrössert wird.
  • Weitere Ausführungsformen sind in den abhängigen Ansprüchen angegeben.

    BESCHREIBUNG BEVORZUGTER AUSFÜHRUNGSFORMEN
  • In den Figuren 1 und 2 wird eine schematische Darstellung von zwei Kontaktstücken K1, K2 und einem Kontaktelement 1 gezeigt. Das Kontaktelement 1 vermittelt dabei einen elektrischen Kontakt zwischen dem ersten Kontaktstück K1 und dem zweiten Kontaktstück K2. Hierzu kontaktiert das Kontaktelement 1 die Kontaktfläche 18 des Kontaktstückes K1 und die Kontaktfläche 19 des Kontaktstückes K2. Aufgrund seiner federnden Eigenschaften, welche untenstehend noch detaillierter beschrieben werden, wird das Kontaktelement in der Kontaktlage, so wie dies in der Figur 2 gezeigt wird, immer gegen die beiden Kontaktflächen 18, 19 der Kontaktstücke K1, K2 gedrückt.
  • Bei der Kontaktierung wird das erste Kontaktstück K1 relativ zum zweiten Kontaktstück K2 verschoben. Das erste Kontaktstück K1 kontaktiert dann mit der Kontaktfläche 18, die hier im vorderen Bereich mit einer Rundung 20 ausgebildet ist, das Kontaktelement 1. Das erste Kontaktstück K1 wird dann relativ zum zweiten Kontaktstück K2 weiter verschoben, bis die Kontaktfläche 18 vollständig mit dem Kontaktelement 1 in Verbindung steht. Hierbei wird dann die Kontaktlage erreicht, welche in der Figur 2 gezeigt ist.
  • Das Kontaktelement 1 zur Vermittlung des elektrischen Kontaktes zwischen den beiden Kontaktstücken K1, K2 umfasst ein sich in Längsrichtung L erstreckendes Trägerband 2 und eine Mehrzahl von Kontaktteilen 5, die mit dem Trägerband 2 in Verbindung stehen. Das Trägerband 2 dient der Lagerung der Kontaktteile 5 und nicht der Vermittlung eines elektrischen Kontaktes, während die Kontaktteile 5 für die Vermittlung eines elektrischen Kontaktes angeordnet sind. Die Längsrichtung L verläuft in den Figuren 1 und 2 rechtwinklig zur Zeichnungsblattoberfläche. Die Längsrichtung L kann je nach Einbaulage des Kontaktelementes gekrümmt sein oder sich entlang einer Gerade erstecken. Beispielsweise ist das Längsrichtung L beim Einbau des Kontaktelementes 1 in eine Buchsen/Steckerkombination um eine Mittelachse umlaufend ausgebildet. Bei der Kontaktierung von zwei Kontaktstücken K1, K2, die im Wesentlichen flächig ist, kann die Längsrichtung L sich entlang einer Geraden erstrecken.
  • In der Figur 3 wird das Trägerband 2, zu welchem die Kontaktteile 5 befestigt werden, im Detail gezeigt. Das Trägerband 2 ist derart ausgebildet, dass es sich bei Anlegen einer Kraft F auf das Trägerband 2 in Längsrichtung L verformt. Das Trägerband 2 ist also in seiner Länge veränderlich ausgebildet. Alternativ kann das Trägerband auch in seiner Längsrichtung starr ausgebildet sein. In der Alternative verändert sich die Länge des Trägerbandes also nicht.
  • Das Trägerband 2 ist hier aus einem flachen Band ausgebildet ist, dessen Dicke um ein Vielfaches kleiner ist als dessen Breite.
  • Das Trägerband 2 umfasst in der gezeigten Ausführungsform mehrere Befestigungsstellen 3. Die Befestigungsstellen 3 sind dabei in Längsrichtung L gesehen in einem Abstand A beabstandet zueinander angeordnet. In der gezeigten Ausführungsform sind zwei Reihen von Befestigungsstellen 3 angeordnet. Eine Reihe umfasst erste Befestigungsstellen 3a, welche in Längsrichtung L nacheinander angeordnet sind und die andere Reihe umfasst zweite Befestigungsstellen 3b, welche in Längsrichtung L ebenfalls nacheinander angeordnet sind. Die beiden Reihen erstrecken sich somit in Längsrichtung L, wobei die Reihen in einer Querrichtung Q, die quer zur Längsrichtung verläuft, beabstandet zueinander sind. Der Abstand zwischen den Befestigungsstellen 3 bei beiden Reihen ist identisch. Die ersten Befestigungsstellen 3a sind aber in Längsrichtung L um einen Versatz B versetzt zu den zweiten Befestigungsstellen 3b angeordnet. Der Versatz B kann beispielsweise dem halben Abstand A entsprechen. Die Befestigungsstellen 3 liegen hier im Bereich der äusseren Kante 13 des Trägerbandes 2. Das Trägerband 2 kann in einer Alternative über seine Länge in Längsrichtung einen im Wesentlichen konstanten Querschnitt aufweisen und ist in Längsrichtung gesehen im Wesentlichen starr.
  • In den Figuren wird eine symmetrische Anordnung der Befestigungsstellen 3 bezüglich der Längsrichtung L gezeigt. Eine asymmetrische Anordnung ist ebenfalls denkbar.
  • Zwischen der Reihe der ersten Befestigungsstellen 3a und der Reihe der zweiten Befestigungsstellen 3b liegt eine Linie M, welche sich ebenfalls in Längsrichtung L erstreckt. Die Linie M kann dabei eine Mittellinie M sein. Die ersten Befestigungsstellen 3a und die zweiten Befestigungsstellen 3b stehen bezüglich der Querrichtung Q mit einem Querabstand C beabstandet zur Linie M.
  • An den Befestigungsstellen 3 werden die Kontaktteile 5 zum Trägerband 2 befestigt.
  • In den Figuren 4a bis 4f wird eine erste Ausführung, in den Figuren 5a bis 5f eine zweite Ausführung, in den Figuren 6a bis 6f eine dritte Ausführung, in den Figuren 7a bis 7f eine vierte Ausführung, und in den Figuren 8a bis 8f eine fünfte Ausführung eines erfindungsgemässen Kontaktelementes 1 gezeigt.
  • In der Folge werden nun die einzelnen Ausführungsformen genauer erläutert, wobei zuerst in allen Ausführungsformen gleiche Merkmale und anschliessend unterschiedliche Merkmale erläutert werden.
  • In den Figuren 4a bis 8f kann gut erkannt werden, dass die Kontaktteile 5 mit der Befestigungsstellen 3 des Trägerbandes 2 in fester Verbindung stehen.
  • Die Kontaktteile 5 gemäss allen Ausführungsformen umfassen jeweils einen ersten Kontaktabschnitt 6 zur Kontaktierung eines der beiden Kontaktstücke K1, K2, einen zweiten Kontaktabschnitt 7 zur Kontaktierung des anderen der beiden Kontaktstücke K2, K1 sowie einen Befestigungsabschnitt 8 zur Befestigung des Kontaktteils 5 an einer Befestigungsstellen 3 des Trägerbandes 2.
  • In allen Ausführungsformen steht jeweils ein erstes Kontaktteil 5a mit seinem Befestigungsabschnitt 8 mit einer ersten Befestigungsstelle 3a in Verbindung. Ein zweites Kontaktteil 5b steht jeweils mit seinem Befestigungsabschnitt 8 mit einer zweiten Befestigungsstelle 3b in Verbindung. Das mit der ersten Befestigungsstelle 3a in Verbindung stehende erste Kontaktteil 5a ist mit seinem ersten Kontaktabschnitt 6 zu dem mit der zweiten Befestigungsstelle 3b in Verbindung stehenden zweiten Kontaktteil 5b hin orientiert. Der erste Kontaktabschnitt 6 ragt also zum zweiten Kontaktteil 5b hin. Gleichermassen ist das mit der zweiten Befestigungsstelle 3b in Verbindung stehende zweite Kontaktteil 5b mit seinem ersten Kontaktabschnitt 6 zu dem mit der ersten Befestigungsstelle 3a in Verbindung stehenden ersten Kontaktteil 5a hin orientiert. Die Kontaktteile 5a, 5b sind dabei derart angeordnet, dass die jeweiligen ersten Kontaktabschnitte 6 sich von der Befestigungsstelle 3a, 3b über die Linie M, die mittig zwischen den beiden Befestigungsabschnitten 3a, 3b sich in Längsrichtung L erstreckt, hinweg erstrecken. Das heisst, die ersten Kontaktabschnitte 6 der jeweiligen Kontaktteile liegen mindestens teilweise auf der anderen Seite bezüglich der Linie M.
  • Die Kontaktteile 5, 5a, 5b liegen derart zum Trägerband 3, dass die Kontaktteile 5, 5a, 5b um eine parallel zur Linie M liegende Schwenklinie S verschwenkbar sind. Dies wird insbesondere in den Figuren 4a, 5a, 6a, 7a und 8a gut gezeigt. Die Schwenklinie S ist hier rechtwinklig zur Zeichnungsblattoberfläche orientiert. Bei einer Kontaktierung mit dem ersten Kontaktstück K1 wird das Kontaktteil 5, so wie in den Figuren 1 und 2 illustriert und die Schwenkbewegung gemäss dem Pfeil S' verschwenkt.
  • Zusätzlich zur Schwenkbewegung S' ist das Kontaktteil 5 während der Verschwenkung um die Schwenklinie S relativ auf der Kontaktfläche 18, 19 des entsprechenden Kontaktstückes K1, K2 bewegbar. Das Kontaktteil 5 bewegt sich dabei mit dem zweiten Kontaktabschnitt 7 relativ zum zweiten Kontaktstück K2. Diese Bewegung verläuft quer zur Schwenklinie S verläuft und trägt das Bezugszeichen V.
  • In den Figuren 4a, 5a, 6a, 7a und 8a kann weiter gut erkannt werden, dass das erste Kontaktteil 5a von seiner Befestigungsstelle 3a her gesehen sich derart erstreckt, dass der erste Kontaktabschnitt 6 quer zur Längsrichtung gesehen sich über ein zweites Kontaktteil 5b sich hinweg erstreckt. Der Überstand ist mit dem Pfeil D dargestellt. Das erste Kontaktteil 5a erstreckt sich dabei über das zweite Kontaktteil 5b derart hinweg, dass bei einer Kontaktbewegung von der Seite des zweiten Kontaktteils 5b zuerst das erste Kontaktteil 5a durch das entsprechende Kontaktstück kontaktiert wird. Mit Blick auf die Figuren 4a, 5a, 6a, 7a und 8a heisst dies, wenn nun in Richtung des Pfeils P' ein Kontaktstück zum Kontaktelement 1 hingeschoben wird, das Kontaktstück zuerst mit dem ersten Kontaktteil 5a in Kontakt kommt, bevor das Kontaktstück mit dem zweiten Kontaktteil 5b in Kontakt kommt.
  • Durch den Überstand kann die Funktion des Kontaktelementes optimiert werden. Beispielsweise kann die maximale Steckkraft bezüglich des benötigten Bauraums optimiert werden.
  • Mit anderen Worten gesagt, ragt der erste Kontaktabschnitt 6 des ersten Kontaktteils 5a über die Oberseite 22 des zweiten Kontaktteils 5b hinweg. Gleichermassen ist natürlich auch das zweite Kontaktteil 5b angeordnet. Der erste Kontaktabschnitt 6 des zweiten Kontaktteils 5b ist dabei derart angeordnet, dass sich dieser über die Oberseite 22 des ersten Kontaktteils 5a hinweg erstreckt und zwar derart, dass bei einer Kontaktbewegung von der Seite des ersten Kontaktteils 5a zuerst das zweite Kontaktteil 5b durch das Kontaktstück kontaktiert wird. Diese Bewegung wird in der Figur 4a durch den Pfeil P symbolisiert.
  • In den Figuren 4a, 5a, 6a, 7a und 8a wird zudem gezeigt, dass die Stege 4 um eine zwischen den Befestigungsstellen 3a, 3b liegende Linie M einfach gebogen oder mehrfach gebogen ausgebildet sind, so dass die Oberfläche 24 der Befestigungsstellen 3a, die auf einer Seite der Linie M angeordnet sind, winklig geneigt zur Oberfläche 24 der Befestigungsstellen 3b, die auf der anderen Seite der Linie M angeordnet sind, liegen. Die Biegestelle trägt jeweils das Bezugszeichen 23 und der Winkel zwischen den ersten Befestigungsstellen 3a und den zweiten Befestigungsstellen 3b ist mit β angegeben.
  • In den Figuren 4b, 5b, 6b, 7b und 8b wird zudem gezeigt, dass sich jeweils ein zweites Kontaktteil 5b in den zwischen zwei benachbarten ersten Kontaktteilen 5a liegenden Zwischenraum Z1, Z2 hinein erstreckt. Ein erstes Kontaktteil 5a erstreckt sich zwischen zwei benachbart angeordnete zweite Kontaktteilen 5b in den Zwischenraum Z2 hinein. Es entsteht also eine sich verschränkende Struktur.
  • In allen Ausführungsformen gemäss den Figuren 4a bis 8f bildet der erste Kontaktabschnitt 6 des Kontaktteils 5, 5a, 5b ein freies Ende 9, welches vom Trägerband 2 absteht. Das freie Ende 9 liegt also nicht am Trägerband 2 an, sondern erstreckt sich vom Befestigungsabschnitt 8 vom Trägerband 2 weg.
  • Im eingefederten Zustand kann das freie Ende 9 durch eine Ausnehmung 35 im Trägerband 2 durch das Trägerband 2 hindurch ragen. Die Ausnehmung 35 wird vorzugsweise durch den Zwischenbereich zwischen zwei Stegen 4 bereitgestellt.
  • Der Befestigungsabschnitt 8 liegt flächig am Trägerband 2 an.
  • Der zweite Kontaktabschnitt 7 ist je nach Art der Befestigung des Kontaktteils 5, 5a, 5b ebenfalls ein freies Ende oder er liegt auf der Unterseite 25 des Trägerbandes 2 an. Dies wird unten im Zusammenhang mit der Befestigung der Kontaktteile 5, 5a, 5b weiter ausgeführt.
  • In der Ausführungsform nach den Figuren 4a bis 4f ist der zweite Kontaktabschnitt 7 des Kontaktteils 5, 5a, 5b derart zum Trägerband 2 angeordnet, dass das Trägerband 2 in der Kontaktlage nicht mit dem Kontaktstück K2 in Verbindung kommt. Der zweite Kontaktabschnitt 7 ist als eine Art Erhebung 29 ausgebildet und liegt beabstandet zur Unterseite des Trägerbandes 2.
  • In allen Ausführungsformen gemäss den Figuren 4a bis 8f ist das Kontaktteil 5 im ersten Kontaktabschnitt 6 mit einer Rundung 11 ausgebildet. Die Rundung 11 betrifft insbesondere die Oberseite 22 des Kontaktteils im ersten Kontaktabschnitt 6, da über die Oberseite 22 auch die Kontaktierung an der jeweiligen Kontaktfläche K1, K2 erfolgt. Je nach Ausbildung kann auch die Unterseite 26 des Kontaktteils 5, 5a, 5b gerundet sein. Die Rundung 11 erstreckt sich mit konstantem oder sich verändernden Rundungsradius um eine Rundungsachse R11. Die Rundungsachse R11 erstreckt sich vorzugsweise parallel zur Längsrichtung L.
  • In den Ausführungsformen der Figuren 4a-4f, 5a-5f, 7a-7f sowie 8a-8f ist auch der zweite Kontaktabschnitt 7 des Kontaktteils 5, 5a, 5b mit einer Rundung 12 gerundet ausgebildet. Die Rundung 12 erstreckt sich mit konstantem oder sich veränderndem Rundungsradius um eine Rundungsachse R12. Die Rundungsachse R12 erstreckt sich vorzugsweise parallel zur Längsrichtung L.
  • In der dritten Ausführungsform nach den Figuren 6a-6f wird der zweite Kontaktabschnitt 7 nicht direkt durch das Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b bereitgestellt, sondern durch eine Niete 14, was dann unten noch weiter ausgeführt wird. Die Oberfläche der Niete 14 ist dabei mit der Rundung 12 ausgebildet.
  • In den Ausführungsformen der Figuren 4a bis 8f liegt der zweite Kontaktabschnitt 7 im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnittes 8. Das heisst, der zweite Kontaktabschnitt 7 und der Befestigungsabschnitt 8 liegen räumlich nahe. Das Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b ist im zweiten Kontaktabschnitt 7 mit einer Rundung 12 ausgebildet, welche Rundung 12 sich um eine Rundungsachse R12, die parallel zur Längsrichtung L verläuft, erstreckt, wobei die Rundungsachse R12 und die Schwenklinie S im Wesentlichen kollinear zueinander verlaufen.
  • In den Ausführungsformen der Figuren 7a und 8a umgibt der zweite Kontaktabschnitt 7 das Trägerband im Bereich seiner äusseren Kante 13.
  • In allen Ausführungsformen kann der Rundungsradius R11 der Rundung 11 des ersten Kontaktabschnittes 6 unterschiedlich vom Rundungsradius R12 der Rundung 12 des zweiten Kontaktabschnittes 7 sein. Die Rundungsradien R11, R12 können auch gleich sein.
  • In allen Ausführungsformen ist der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils 5, 5a, 5b im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnitts 8 grösser als im Bereich des ersten Kontaktabschnittes 6. Der erste Kontaktabschnitt 6 ist also verjüngt zum Befestigungsabschnitt 8 ausgebildet. Die Querschnittsänderung kann verschiedene Geometrien aufweisen.
  • In den Ausführungsformen der Figuren 4a-4f sowie 8a-8f ist der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils 5, 5a, 5b gesehen im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnitts 8 grösser als der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils 5, 5a, 5b im Bereich des zweiten Kontaktabschnittes 7. Der zweite Kontaktabschnitt 7 ist also verjüngt zum Befestigungsabschnitt 8 ausgebildet. Die Querschnittsänderung kann verschiedene Geometrien aufweisen. Der Grad der Verjüngung im zweiten Kontaktabschnitt 7 ist aber vorzugsweise kleiner als im ersten Kontaktabschnitt 6.
  • In den Ausführungsformen der Figuren 5a-5f, 6a-6f sowie 7a-7f ist der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils 5, 5a, 5b im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnitts 8 im Wesentlichen gleich zum Querschnitt im Bereich des zweiten Kontaktabschnittes 7.
  • In der ersten Ausführungsform nach den Figuren 4a bis 4f steht das Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b mit mindestens einer Niete 15 mit dem Trägerband 2 in Verbindung. Mindestens eine Niete 15 ist dem Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b einstückig angeformt. Das Kontaktteil 3 und die Niete 15 bilden also eine einstückige Struktur. Die Niete 15 wird im Bereich der Unterseite 25 des Trägerbandes dann plastisch verformt, so dass ein Nietenkopf 27 gebildet wird, mit welchem das Trägerband 2 zum Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b geklemmt wird. Die Niete 15 ragt durch eine Nietenöffnung 33 durch das Trägerband 2 hindurch. Die Niete 15 als auch die Nietenöffnung 33 weisen im Wesentlichen den gleichen Querschnitt auf und sind hier oval ausgebildet.
  • In der gezeigten Ausführungsform nach den Figuren 4a bis 4f sind pro Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b vier Nieten 15 angeordnet. Die Zahl der Nieten 15 in anderen Varianten der ersten Ausführungsform kann auch grösser oder kleiner als vier sein.
  • Die Nieten 15 nach der ersten Ausführungsform werden vorzugsweise durch eine Prägevorgang hergestellt, wobei ein Prägewerkzeug den Befestigungsabschnitt plastisch von der Oberseite 22 her verformt und so die Nieten auf der Unterseite 26 des Kontaktelementes herausdrückt.
  • Die Befestigungsstellen 3 weisen Durchbrüche zur Aufnahme der Nieten 15 auf. Die Zahl der Durchbrüche und deren Lage ist der Zahl und der Lage der Nieten 15 angepasst. Die Durchbrüche im Trägerband werden beispielsweise durch einen Stanzvorgang hergestellt.
  • Der zweite Kontaktabschnitt 7 weist in der ersten Ausführungsform eine optionale Einbuchtung 28 auf, welche sich mittig durch den zweiten Kontaktabschnitt 7 und quer zur Längsrichtung L gesehen, in den zweiten Kontaktabschnitt 7 hinein erstreckt. Mit der Einbuchtung 28 kann eine definierte Aufteilung der Kontaktflächen erreicht werden, wodurch der Kontaktwiderstand genauer definierbar wird.
  • Im Bereich der äusseren Kante 13 der Befestigungsstelle 3 weist das Kontaktteil 5 weiter eine Erhebung 29 auf. Der Erhebung 29 schliesst sich dann der zweite Kontaktabschnitt 7 an. Durch die Erhebung 29 liegt der Befestigungsabschnitt 8 rückwärtig versetzt vom Kontaktabschnitt 7, so dass die Befestigungsstelle 3 und der Nietenkopf 27 ebenfalls vom Kontaktabschnitt 7 versetzt sind, derart, dass diese den Kontaktvorgang nicht negativ beeinflussen.
  • In der zweiten Ausführungsform nach den Figuren 5a bis 5f steht das Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b mit mindestens einer Niete 14 mit dem Trägerband 2 in Verbindung.
  • Die Niete 14 in dieser Ausführungsform ist vom Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b separat ausgebildet. Die Niete 14 wird durch einen Durchbruch im zweiten Kontaktabschnitt 7 und durch eine Durchbrich in der Befestigungsstelle 3 hindurch geführt. Mit der Niete 14 wird das Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b zur Befestigungsstelle 3 geklemmt.
  • In der gezeigten Ausführungsform ist nur eine Niete 14 gezeigt. Die Anordnung von mehreren Nieten 14, wie beispielsweise in der Figur 4 gezeigt, wäre auch denkbar.
  • In der zweiten Ausführungsform schliesst sich der zweite Kontaktabschnitt 7 dem Befestigungsabschnitt 8 gegenüber dem ersten Kontaktabschnitt 6 an. Der zweite Kontaktabschnitt 7 ist dabei vom Befestigungsabschnitt 8 über eine Knickstelle 30 geknickt ausgebildet und verläuft winklig geneigt zum Befestigungsabschnitt.
  • Der erste Kontaktabschnitt 6 ist in dieser Ausführungsform als gerundete Spitze mit der oben beschriebenen Rundung ausgebildet, wobei die Spitze zum freien Ende 9 hin zuläuft.
  • Die Befestigung mit der mindestens einen Niete 14 könnte zusätzlich zur mechanischen Befestigung mit einer Schweiss- oder Lötverbindung unterstützt werden. Die Niete 14 könnte also verschweisst werden.
  • In der dritten Ausführungsform nach den Figuren 6a bis 6f steht das Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b mit mindestens einer Niete 14 mit dem Trägerband 2 in Verbindung.
  • Die Niete 14 in dieser Ausführungsform ist vom Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b separat ausgebildet. Die Niete 14 wird durch einen Durchbruch im zweiten Kontaktabschnitt 7 und durch eine Durchbrich in der Befestigungsstelle 3 hindurch geführt. Mit der Niete 14 wird das Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b zur Befestigungsstelle 3 geklemmt.
  • In der gezeigten Ausführungsform ist nur eine Niete 14 gezeigt. Die Anordnung von mehreren Nieten 14, wie beispielsweise in der Figur 4 gezeigt, wäre auch denkbar.
  • Gemäss der dritten Ausführungsform ist die Niete 14 aus einem elektrischen leitenden Material bereitgestellt und der Nietenkopf 27 auf der Unterseite 26 des Trägerbandes 2 stellt den zweiten Kontaktabschnitt bereit. Die Niete 14 steht in elektrischem Kontakt mit Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b.
  • Der Nietenkopf 27 ragt in der gezeigten Ausführungsform über die äussere Kante 13 der Befestigungsstelle 3, so dass eine gute Kontaktierung der Kontaktfläche des zweiten Kontaktstückes erreicht wird.
  • Der Nietenkopf 27 weist die oben beschrieben Rundung 12 auf.
  • In einer weitergehenden Ausführungsform, welche im Wesentlichen der Kombination der ersten und der dritten Ausführungsform entspricht, ist die Niete wie bei der ersten Ausführungsform dem Kontaktteil einstückig angeformt und der Nietenkopf wird dann gemäss der dritten Ausführungsform umgeformt, so dass der Nietenkopf den besagten zweiten Kontaktabschnitt bereitstellen kann. Diese weitergehende Ausführungsform ist in den Figuren nicht dargestellt.
  • Der erste Kontaktabschnitt 6 ist in dieser Ausführungsform als gerundete Spitze mit der oben beschriebenen Rundung ausgebildet, wobei die Spitze zum freien Ende 9 hin zuläuft.
  • Die Befestigung mit der mindestens einen Niete 14 könnte zusätzlich zur mechanischen Befestigung mit einer Schweiss- oder Lötverbindung unterstützt werden. Die Niete 14 könnte also verschweisst oder verlötet werden.
  • In der vierten Ausführungsform nach den Figuren 7a bis 7f umgibt der Befestigungsabschnitt 8 die Befestigungsstelle 3 mindestens teilweise. In der gezeigten Ausführungsform umgibt der Befestigungsabschnitt 8 die Befestigungsstelle auf deren Oberseite sowie auf deren Unterseite und der äusseren Kante 13. Bei der Montage des Kontaktteils 3 wird der Befestigungsabschnitt 8 plastisch umgeformt und dadurch zur Befestigungsstelle geklemmt. Die mechanische Klemmung kann durch ein zusätzliche Löt- oder Schweissverbindung unterstützt werden.
  • Vorzugsweise umgibt der Befestigungsabschnitt die Oberseite bzw. die Unterseite der Befestigungsstelle im Wesentlichen vollständig. Auch wäre es denkbar, dass der Befestigungsabschnitt die Oberseite und/oder die Unterseite nur teilweise umgibt.
  • Die Klemmung kann auch als Crimpung oder Crimpverbindung bezeichnet werden. In den Figuren trägt die Crimpung das Bezugszeichen 31.
  • Der Teil des Befestigungsabschnittes 8, welcher sich um die äussere Kante 13 herum erstreckt, dient zugleich als zweiter Kontaktabschnitt 7 und ist entsprechend mit einer Rundung 12 auf seiner Aussenseite ausgebildet.
  • In der fünften Ausführungsform nach den Figuren 8a bis 8f wird das Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b mit einem Klipelement 16 an der Befestigungsstelle 3 befestigt. Das Klipelement 16 ist in der gezeigten Ausführungsform der Befestigungsstelle 3 angeformt und erstreckt sich von der äusseren Kante 13 der Befestigungsstelle 3 quer zur Längsrichtung L weg. Das Klipelement 16 wird umgeformt und erstreckt sich auf die Oberseite 22 des Kontaktteils 5, 5a, 5b im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnittes 8 und klemmt so das Kontaktteil 5, 5a, 5b zur Befestigungsstelle 3.
  • Alternativ kann das Klipelement 16 auch ein separat zum Kontaktteil bzw. zur Befestigungsstelle 3 ausgebildetes Element sein.
  • Vorzugsweise erstreckt sich das Klipelement 16 durch einen Schlitz 17, welcher sich in den zweiten Kontaktabschnitt 7 hinein erstreckt. Hierdurch wird sichergestellt, dass das Klipelement die Kontaktierung zwischen dem zweiten Kontaktabschnitt 7 und dem zweiten Kontaktstück K2 nicht negativ beeinflusst. Mit anderen Worten gesagt erstreckt sich der Kontaktabschnitt 7 vom Befestigungsabschnitt 8 als zwei freie Ende weg.
  • Die mechanische Klemmung durch das Klipelement 16 kann durch ein zusätzliche Löt- oder Schweissverbindung unterstützt werden.
  • In den Figuren 9a bis 9d wird in schematischer Ansicht eine erste Einbausituation eines Kontaktelementes 1 gezeigt. Das Kontaktelement 1 kann dabei im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung, insbesondere gemäss den vorhergehenden Ausführungsformen ausgebildet sein.
  • Die Längsrichtung des Trägerbandes 2 bzw. die Linie M erstrecken sich hier um eine Mittelachse X. In den Figuren 9a bis 9d wird im Wesentlichen die Einbausituation in einer Buchse gezeigt, wobei die zweiten Kontaktabschnittes 7 dann in einer Nut in einer Buchse liegen.
  • Insbesondere von der Figur 9c kann gut erkannt werden, dass die Orientierung der Kontaktteile 5 in Richtung der Mittelachse X ist, also quer zur Längsrichtung des Trägerbandes.
  • In den Figuren 10a bis 10d wird in schematischer Ansicht eine zweite Einbausituation eines Kontaktelementes 1 gezeigt. Das Kontaktelement 1 kann dabei im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung, insbesondere gemäss den vorhergehenden Ausführungsformen ausgebildet sein.
  • Die Längsrichtung des Trägerbandes 2 bzw. die Linie M erstrecken sich hier um eine Mittelachse X. In den Figuren 10a bis 10d wird im Wesentlichen die Einbausituation auf der Aussenseite eines Steckers gezeigt, wobei die zweiten Kontaktabschnittes 7 dann in einer Nut an der Aussenseite des Steckers liegen.
  • Insbesondere von der Figur 10c kann gut erkannt werden, dass die Orientierung der Kontaktteile 5 in Richtung der Mittelachse X ist, also quer zur Längsrichtung des Trägerbandes.
  • Bei beiden Konfiguration nach den Figuren 9a bis 9c und 10a bis 10c sind die Enden 34 des Trägerbandes 2 miteinander verbunden, so dass ein sich um eine Mittelachse X herum erstreckendes Kontaktelement resultiert, wobei die beiden Enden 34 vorzugsweise mit einem der besagten Kontaktteile 5, 5a, 5b verbunden sind. Claims (19)

  1. Kontaktelement (1) zur Vermittlung eines elektrischen Kontaktes zwischen zwei Kontaktstücken (K1, K2) umfassend
    ein sich in einer Längsrichtung (L) erstreckendes Trägerband (2),
    und
    eine Mehrzahl von Kontaktteilen (5, 5a, 5b) mit jeweils mindestens einem ersten Kontaktabschnitt (6) zur Kontaktierung eines der beiden Kontaktstücke (K1, K2), mindestens einem zweiten Kontaktabschnitt (7) zur Kontaktierung des anderen der beiden Kontaktstücke (K2, K1), sowie mit mindestens einem Befestigungsabschnitt (8) zur Befestigung des Kontaktteils (5, 5a, 5b) an einer Befestigungsstelle (3) am Trägerband (2), dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass sich eine Linie (M), insbesondere eine Mittellinie, in Längsrichtung durch das Trägerband hindurch erstreckt, wobei die Kontaktteile (5, 5a, 5b) derart zum Trägerband (3) liegen, dass die Kontaktteile (5, 5a, 5b) um eine Schwenklinie (S) verschwenkbar sind, welche Schwenklinie (S) in einem Winkel von kleiner als 30° winklig geneigt, insbesondere im Wesentlichen parallel, zur besagten Linie (M) liegt.
  2. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Kontaktteil (5) während der Verschwenkung um die Schwenklinie (S) relativ auf der Kontaktfläche (18, 19) des entsprechenden Kontaktstückes (K1, K2) bewegbar ist, wobei die Bewegung quer zur Schwenklinie (S) verläuft.
  3. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zweite Kontaktabschnitt (7) im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnittes (8) liegt, und dass das Kontaktteil (5, 5a, 5b) im zweiten Kontaktabschnitt (7) mit einer Rundung (12) ausgebildet ist, welche Rundung (12) sich um eine Rundungsachse (R12), die parallel zur Längsrichtung (L) verläuft, erstreckt, wobei die Rundungsachse (R12) und die Schwenklinie (S) im Wesentlichen kollinear zueinander verlaufen.
  4. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Trägerband über seine Länge in Längsrichtung einen im Wesentlichen konstanten Querschnitt aufweist und in Längsrichtung gesehen im Wesentlichen starr ist.
  5. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Trägerband derart ausgebildet ist, dass bei Anlegen einer Kraft (F) auf das Trägerband (2) sich die Länge des Trägerbandes (2) in Längsrichtung (L) verändert.
  6. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass beidseitig oder einseitig zum Trägerband (2) Kontaktteile (5, 5a, 5b) angeordnet sind.
  7. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kontaktteile (5, 5a, 5b) sich von der jeweiligen Befestigungsstelle (3), mit der das entsprechende Kontaktteil (5, 5a, 5b) mit dem Trägerband (2) in Verbindung steht, sich über die Linie (M), welche sich in Längsrichtung (L) erstreckt, hinweg erstreckt.
  8. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass beidseitig zum Trägerband (2) Kontaktteile (5, 5a, 5b) angeordnet sind, wobei zwischen zwei benachbart auf der gleichen Seite angeordnete Kontaktteile (5, 5a, 5b) ein Zwischenraum vorhanden ist, in welchen ein auf der anderen Seite angeordnetes Kontaktteil (5, 5a, 5b) einragen kann, derart, dass sich ein zweites Kontaktteil (5, 5b) in den zwischen zwei benachbarten ersten Kontaktteilen (5, 5a) liegenden Zwischenraum (Z1) hineinerstreckt und dass sich ein erstes Kontaktteil (5, 5a) in den zwischen zwei benachbarten zweiten Kontaktteilen (5, 5b) liegenden Zwischenraum (Z2) hineinerstreckt.
  9. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das erste Kontaktteil (5, 5a) von seiner Befestigungsstelle (3) her gesehen sich derart erstreckt, dass der erste Kontaktabschnitt (6) quer zur Längsrichtung (L) gesehen sich über ein zweites Kontaktteil (5, 5b) sich hinweg erstreckt, derart, dass bei einer Kontaktbewegung von der Seite des zweiten Kontaktteils (5, 5b) zuerst das erste Kontaktteil (5, 5a) durch das Kontaktstück kontaktiert wird.
  10. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Trägerband (2) um eine zwischen den Befestigungsstellen (3) liegende Linie gebogen, insbesondere gekrümmt gebogen oder einfach gebogen oder mehrfach gebogen, ausgebildet sind, so dass die Oberfläche der Befestigungsstellen (3), die auf einer Seite der Linie (M) angeordnet sind, winklig geneigt zur Oberfläche der Befestigungsstellen (3), die auf der anderen Seite der Linie (M) angeordnet sind, liegen.
  11. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der erste Kontaktabschnitt (6) bezüglich des Trägerbandes (2) ein freies Ende (9) bildet und mindestens im nicht-eingefederten Zustand vom Trägerband (2) weg ragt bzw. weg steht und dass das freie Ende (9) in der Kontaktlage durch eine Ausnehmung (35) im Trägerband (2) durch das Trägerband (2) hindurch ragt.
  12. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Kontaktteil (5, 5a, 5b) im ersten Kontaktabschnitt (6) mit einer Rundung (11) ausgebildet ist, welche Rundung (11) sich um eine Rundungsachse (R11), die parallel zur Längsrichtung (L) verläuft, erstreckt.
  13. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils (5, 5a, 5b) im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnittes (8) grösser als der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils (5, 5a, 5b) im Bereich des ersten Kontaktabschnittes (6) ist.
  14. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils (5, 5a, 5b) im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnittes (8) grösser als der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils (5, 5a, 5b) im Bereich des zweiten Kontaktabschnittes (7) ist, oder dass in Längsrichtung (L) gesehen der Querschnitt des Kontaktteils (5, 5a, 5b) im Bereich des Befestigungsabschnittes (8) im Wesentlichen gleich zum Querschnitt im Bereich des zweiten Kontaktabschnittes (7) ist.
  15. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zweite Kontaktabschnitt (7) des Kontaktteils (5, 5a, 5b) derart zum Trägerband (2) liegt, dass das Trägerband (2) in der Kontaktlage nicht mit dem Kontaktstück (K2) in Verbindung kommt.
  16. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Kontaktteil (3) über den Befestigungsabschnitt (8) mit mindestens einem plastisch umformbaren Verbindungselement, insbesondere einer Niete (15), mit der Befestigungsstelle (3) verbunden ist, wobei das Verbindungselement (15) dem Kontaktteil (3) einstückig angeformt ist.
  17. Kontaktelement (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Enden des Trägerbandes (2) miteinander verbunden sind, so dass ein sich um eine Mittelachse (X) herum erstreckendes Kontaktelement resultiert, wobei die beiden Enden vorzugsweise mit einem der besagten Kontaktteile (5, 5a, 5b) verbunden sind oder wobei die Enden mit einem separaten Element miteinander verbunden sind.
  18. Anordnung eines Kontaktelementes (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche sowie einem ersten Kontaktstück und einem zweiten Kontaktstück, wobei das Kontaktelement mit seinem ersten Kontaktabschnitt am ersten Kontaktstück und mit dem zweiten Kontaktabschnitt am zweiten Kontaktstück anliegt.
  19. Anordnung nach Anspruch 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das erste Kontaktstück ein sich um eine Mittelachse herum erstreckendes Buchsenteil und das zweite Kontaktstück ein sich um die Mittelachse herum erstreckendes Stiftteil ist, wobei das Trägerband sich um die Mittelachse herum erstreckt, wobei die Längsrichtung (L) quer zur Mittelachse liegt und sich um diese herum erstreckt, und wobei die Schwenklinie (S) sich um die Mittelachse von Buchsenteil bzw. Stiftteil herum erstreckt.
