  • the invention relates to a strapping device, preferably a mobile strapping device, for strapping packaged goods with a strapping band, which has a tensioning device for applying a belt tension to a loop of a strapping band, wherein the tensioning device is provided with a tensioning wheel that can be driven by a motor axis in a rotational manner Is provided in the strapping band, the clamping device further comprises a clamping plate, wherein during a clamping operation performed by the clamping device is provided that a portion of the strap between the tensioning wheel and the clamping plate and is both with the tensioning wheel and the clamping plate in contact , Further, the tensioning wheel or the clamping plate is arranged on a rocker arm rotatable about a rocker axis to a motor to pivot by a pivoting movement of the rocker, a distance between the tensioning wheel and the clamping plate either increase or decrease ,
  • the strapping device furthermore has a connecting device, such as a welding device, for producing a connection, in
  • Such mobile strapping devices are used for strapping packaged goods with a plastic band.
  • a loop of the respective plastic strip is placed around the packaged goods.
  • the plastic tape is here deducted from a supply roll.
  • the end portion of the band overlaps with a portion of the band loop.
  • the strapping device is then applied to this two-layer region of the band, in which case the band is clamped in the strapping device, a band tension is applied to the band loop by means of the tensioning device, and a closure is produced by friction welding (or other connection technique) on the loop between the two band layers.
  • the belt loop is pressed onto the belt with an oscillatingly moving friction shoe in the region of two ends.
  • Generic strapping devices are provided for mobile use, in which the devices carried by a user to the respective site and should not rely on the use of externally supplied supply energy.
  • the energy required for the intended use of such strapping devices for tensioning a strapping band around any packaged goods and for producing a closure is generally provided by previously known strapping devices by an electric accumulator or by compressed air. With this energy, the belt tension introduced by means of the tensioning device onto the belt and a closure on the strapping belt are produced.
  • Generic strapping devices are also intended to connect only weldable plastic straps together.

In particular, the task is not directed exclusively to mobile strapping devices.
  • the solution according to the invention only one motor is required so that both the clamping operation of the belt by the tensioning wheel and the lifting of the rocker of the tensioning device can be effected by a respective motor movement.
  • the same only one direction of rotation of the motor which is preferably designed as an electric motor, can be used here.
  • the invention thus enables an extension of the executable with only one engine functions whose benefits come in a mobile portable strapping to bear in particular mass. Abstract
