Definitions

  • the invention relates to a tile with the features of the preamble of claim 1 and a roof with a roofing with laid roof tiles according to the preamble of claim 12. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for producing a ceramic tile.
  • the DE 199 64 102 C1 provides for the simple and inexpensive production of large-scale plate-shaped roof tile that this is made on an extruded blank.
  • the blank is post-extrusion, without any repressing done with pressing, reworked by partially formed on the back of the blank ribs are removed to form mounting lugs and stabilizing ribs.
  • the eaves-side lower edge of the blank is made free of ribs and then formed into a bent Dachziegelfuß Symposium.
  • a roof tile according to the preamble of claim 1 is in the FR-A-937,326 disclosed.
  • the present invention has for its object to provide a roof tile, which is easy and inexpensive to produce as a large roof tile and ensures a visually appealing and secure roofing of a roof with advantageous water and snow management.
  • the preferably ceramic roof tile according to claim 1 provides a plate-shaped main portion, wherein on one side of this plate-shaped main portion, a first side portion with one or more upstanding side ribs and on the other side of the main portion, a second side portion with a cover fold with a on the Level of the top of the plate-shaped main portion projecting, in cross-section U-shaped cover bead is formed. If this tile is laid as a roofing, results due to the projecting beyond the level of the main section decking a visually interesting structuring of the roofing with good water and snow management. Due to the side rib, which is formed as an upwardly projecting hook-shaped profile edge in the edge region of the first side portion, it is possible that the cover bead is hooked to the side rib.
  • the side rib having the first side portion is arranged with its top side flush with the top of the plate-shaped main portion immediately adjacent to the plate-shaped main portion and at the top of the first side portion at any point below the top of the plate-shaped main portion.

It is thus, when the tile is laid, obtained in the roofing an interesting visual structuring. In the roof covering then change the plate-shaped planar main portion alternately with the protruding U-shaped cover ridge.
  • a particularly simple and inexpensive production is possible. It is essential that in a process step, first by extrusion, a blank is produced, which has a plate-shaped main portion with a substantially planar top and a first side portion with an upwardly projecting above the flat top edge and a second side portion with a U-shaped cross section having the flat top protruding.
