Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft homogene bordotierte Erdalkaliperoxide und Erdalkalimischperoxide, deren Herstellung und Verwendung als Sauerstoffzufuhrmittel für landwirtschaftliche Zwecke.
Description
Homogenes bordotiertes Erdalkaliperoxid
Beschreibung
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf homogene bordotierte Erd- alkaliperoxide, deren Herstellung und Verwendung.
Es ist bekannt, Erdalkaliperoxide, wie z. B. Calcium- o- der Magnesiumperoxid als Sauerstoffquelle bei aeroben Prozessen wie bei der Behandlung von Bioabfällen, in der Bodensanierung ("in situ Bioremediation") oder bei der Abwasserreinigung zu verwenden. Weiterhin ist die Verwendung von Calci- umperoxid für landwirtschaftliche Zwecke, insbesondere bei der Direktaussaat, bekannt.
Gemäß JP 62-103002 verbessert ein Calcium-/Magnesiumperoxid die Anbauleistung bezüglich Auskeimen, Setzlingsbildung sowie das anfängliche Wachstum der Pflanzen.
Zur Verbesserung der Anbauleistung wird üblicherweise das Saatgut mit einer Pilier asse, die neben dem Sauerstoff- zufuhrmittel z. B. Wirkstoffe, Nährstoffe, Bentonit usw. enthält, behandelt. Die Einzelkomponenten dieser Mischung werden miteinander vermischt und anschließend das Saatgut mit dieser Mischung u hü11t.
Üblicherweise wird als Sauerstoffzufuhrmittel Natriumperborat beschrieben, welches als wasserlösliche Verbindung sowohl Sauerstoff als auch zusätzlich das zum Pflanzenwachstum essentielle Bor zur Verfügung stellen kann.
Obwohl wegen dieser Bifunktionalität (Sauerstoffabgäbe und Borgehalt) Natriumperborat das geeignete Sauerstoffzufuhrmittel sein sollte, sind verfahrenstechnisch bei der Verwendung von Natriumperborat im Pilierungsprozeß erhebliche Probleme zu erwarten: aufgrund der hohen Wasserlöslichkeit von Natriumperborat besteht die Gefahr, daß das im Pilierpro- zeß freigesetzte Wasserstoffperoxid mit leicht oxidierbaren Komponenten aus der Piliermasse reagiert, wobei einerseits der verfügbare Sauerstoff eingeschränkt und andererseits die gewünschte Wirksamkeit der Piliermasse reduziert wird.
Es bestand daher die Aufgabe, geeignete anorganische Peroxide, welche sich durch eine geringe Wasserlöslichkeit sowie einer hohen, thermischen Sauerstoffstabilität auszeichnen mit geeigneten Borverbindungen anzureichern um durch die obenbeschriebene Bifunktionalität den größten Nutzen bezüglich Sauerstoff- und Borabgabe im Saatgut zu erzielen.
Die Aufgabe wird durch die Bereitstellung von homogenen bordotierten Erdalkaliperoxiden oder Mischperoxide insbesondere bordotiertes Calciumperoxid sowie deren einfacher Herstellung und die zweckentsprechende Verwendung gelöst .
Das erfindungsgemäße homogene bordotierte Erdalkaliperoxid mit einem Peroxidgehalt von größer 80 % vorzugsweise ca. 75 % errechnet aus dem Aktivsauerstoffgehalt kann in einfacher Weise hergestellt werden, indem man in konventionelle Verfahren zur Herstellung von Erdalkaliperoxid als weiteren Ausgangsstoff eine geeignete Borquelle zusetzt oder die entsprechende Erdalkaliperoxidsuspension mit der Borquelle in Kontakt bringt.
Als geeignete Borquelle wird insbesondere Metaboratlauge oder Borsäure eingesetzt.
Die Erfindung betrifft ebenfalls ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von homogenen bordotierten Erdalkalimischperoxiden,
insbesondere homogenen bordotierten Calcium-/Magnesiumperoxiden. Hierbei wird in analoge Weise- homogenes Calcium-/Mag- nesiumperoxid mit einer Borquelle in Kontakt gebracht.
Das homogene Calcium-/Magnesiumperoxid wird nach dem Verfahren gemäß DE 196 50 686 hergestellt, in dem man eine wäßrige Lösung oder eine Suspension von Calciumhydroxid und Magnesiumoxid und/oder Magnesiumhydroxid bei einer Temperatur unter 60 °C mit einer wäßrigen Wasserstoffperoxidlösung umsetzt.
Diese Calcium-/Magnesiumperoxidsuspension wird mit der Borquelle in Kontakt gebracht. Es ist ebenfalls im Sinne der Erfindung, das Calcium-/Magnesiummischperoxid zunächst als festes Reaktionsprodukt zu gewinnen und nachfolgend eine Calcium-/Magnesiumperoxidsuspension herzustellen, in welche dann die Borverbindung eingetragen wird.
Demgemäß betrifft die Erfindung auch ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des homogenen bordotierten Calciumperoxides, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß man eine Calciumperoxid- suspension unter Rühren mit Metaboratlauge oder Borsäure und einer 30 bis 70 gew.-%igen wäßrigen Wasserstoffperoxidlösung versetzt.
In einer anderen Ausführungsform wird eine wäßrige Suspension von Calciumhydroxid und Metaboratlauge mit einer wäßrigen Wasserstoffperoxidlösung zur Reaktion gebracht.
Nach erfolgter Reaktion wird das Wasser verdampft und das Reaktionsprodukt getrocknet.
Bevorzugt werden Calciumperoxidsuspensionen mit einem Feststoffgehalt von 250 bis 400 g/1 eingesetzt und unter Rühren mit Natriummetaboratlauge oder wäßriger, gesättigter Borsäurelösung versetzt. Die Borlösungzugabemengen richten sich dabei nach dem Borgehalt, den das Endprodukt aufweisen soll.
Das bordotierte Calciumperoxid wird.im Sprühtrockner bei einer Ablufttemperatur von 120 °C getrocknet und kann in gewünschter Weise konfektioniert bzw. mit den für die Saatgutbehandlung üblichen Komponenten formuliert werden.
Das erfindungsgemäß hergestellte homogene bordotierte Calciumperoxid zeichnet sich durch einen Borgehalt von 0,5 bis 5 Gew.-% Bor aus und weist einen Calciumperoxidgehalt von ~75 % (errechnet aus dem Aktivsauerstoffgehalt) auf.
Das bordotierte Calciumperoxid kann geringfügige Mengen von für Perverbindungen üblichen Additiven und/oder Stabilisatoren enthalten. Solche Additive sind z. B. Wasserglas bzw. Aktivsauerstoffstabilisatoren wie Phosphonsäuren und deren Salze.
Das erfindungsgemäße Produkt besitzt im Vergleich zu Natriumperborat vorteilhafte Stabilitätseigenschaften. So liegen beispielsweise der Trockenstabilverlust (2 h bei 105 °C, siehe Vorschrift 1) unter 10 % sowie der Naßstabilverlust (20 min. bei 90 °C, siehe Vorschrift 2) jeweils unter 10 %.
Das erfindungsgemäße homogene bordotierte Calciumperoxid zeichnet sich durch eine Reihe von Vorteilen aus.
In der Form des sehr feinteiligen Zielproduktes (Korndurchmesser «50 μm) wird ein bordotiertes Calciumperoxid zur Verfügung gestellt, bei dem die Borkomponente prozeßbedingt nahezu ideal und homogen verteilt ist. Bei einer späteren Anwendung im Pilierprozeß ist somit eine Entmischung der Bor- und Calciumperoxidkomponente ausgeschlossen.
Aufwendige Mischschritte zum Einbringen von separaten Borverbindungen in die Piliermassen, insbesondere für die Behandlung von Zuckerrübensaatgut, erübrigen sich somit.
Bei der Anwendung als Sauerstoffzufuhrmittel bei der Saatgutverbesserung erfüllt das bordotierte Calciumperoxid gleichzeitig die Funktion der benötigten Borquelle.
Beispiel 1 - 3t
In einem Reaktionsbehälter wird eine Calciumperoxidsuspension folgender Zusammensetzung:
79,3 % Calciumperoxid 5,3 % Calciumcarbonat 8,5 % Calciumhydroxid
mit Natriummetaboratlauge versetzt und wäßrige Wasserstoffperoxidlösung hinzugefügt .
Die Zugabemenge an Natriummetaboratlauge richtet sich nach dem gewünschten Borgehalt im Endprodukt .
Die Zugabemenge von Wasserstoffperoxid wird so gewählt, daß pro Mol Bor mehr als 1 Mol Wasserstoffperoxid zugesetzt wird.
Die Trocknung des Reaktionsproduktes erfolgt im Sprühtrockner bei 17.000 U/m, 400, °C Zulufttemperatur, 120 °C Ablufttempe- ratur.
Beispiel 4 ;
In die Calciumperoxidsuspension entsprechend obigem Beispiel wird die für das Zielprodukt erforderliche Bormenge in Form von Natriummetaboratlauge zugegeben. Die Aufarbeitung des bordotierten Calciu peroxids erfolgt analog obigem Beispiel. Die Zugabe der wäßrigen Wasserstoffperoxidlösung entfällt.

In die Calciumperoxidsuspension entsprechend obigem Beispiel wird die für das Zielprodukt erforderliche Bormenge in Form einer gesättigten Borsäurelösung zugegeben. Die Aufarbeitung des bordotierten Calciumperoxids erfolgt in bekannter Weise.

In 3. Peroxidsuspension, die aus den folgenden Reaktionskomponenten 12,1 kg Ca(0H)2, 1,2 kg Mg(OH)2 und 9,2 kg H202 60 % w/w hergestellt wurde, wurden nach Ende der Reaktion 100 g H3BO3 in einer gesättigten wäßrigen Lösung sowie 140 ml Natriumwasserglaslösung zudosiert und entsprechend den obenbeschriebenen Beispielen weiterverarbeitet.

Die Stabilität der homogenen bordotierten Peroxide bei erhöhter Temperatur wird über den Verlust an Aktivsauerstoff bestimmt. Es wurde sowohl die Naßstabilität als auch die Trockenstabilität der bordotierten Peroxide bestimmt. Der Stabilitätsverlust in % ergibt sich als wieder gefundener Aktivsauerstoffgehalt bezogen auf den ursprünglichen Sauer- stoffgehalt .
Vorschrift 1: (Naßstabilität)
1 g einer Peroxidprobe mit bekanntem Aktivsauerstoffgehalt wurde mit 1,56 ml Wasser versetzt und dann in einem verschlossenen Gefäß für 20 min. bei 90 °C in einen Thermostaten gestellt. Danach wurde die Probe in ca. 100 ml Mischsäure (Zusammensetzung: 1 1 HCl, 37 Gew.-%; 1 1 H3P04, 85 Gew.-%; 6 1 H20) gelöst und mit Kaliumpermanganatlösung bis zu einer bleibenden, schwachen Rosafärbung titriert. Der Stabilverlust in % ergibt sich als wiedergefundener Aktivsauerstoffgehalt bezogen auf den ursprünglichen Sauerstoffgehalt .
Vorschrif 21 (Trockenstabilität)
1 g einer Peroxidprobe mit bekanntem Aktivsauerstoffgehalt wurde in einem Reagenzglas für 2 h bei 105 °C in einen Thermostaten gestellt. Danach wurde die Probe in ca. 100 ml Mischsäure (Zusammensetzung: 1 1 HCl, 37 Gew.-%; 1 1 H3P04, 85 Gew.-%; 6 1 H20) gelöst und mit Kaliumpermanganatlösung bis zu einer bleibenden, schwachen Rosafärbung titriert. Der Stabilverlust in % ergibt sich als wiedergefundener Aktivsauerstoffgehalt bezogen auf den ursprünglichen Sauerstoffgehalt.

Claims
1. Homogene bordotierte Erdalkaliperoxide, gekennzeichnet durch einen Borgehalt von 0,5 bis 5 Gew.-% und einem Peroxidgehalt >80 Gew.-% errechnet aus dem Aktivsauerstoffgehalt.
2. Homogenes bordotiertes Erdalkaliperoxid nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Erdalkaliperoxid ein Calciumperoxid oder ein Erdalkalimischperoxid, vorzugsweise Calcium-/Magnesiumperoxid ist.
3. Verfahren zur Herstellung von homogenen bordotierten Erdalkaliperoxiden nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man eine wäßrige Lösung oder wäßrige Suspensionen, welche Erdalkalihydroxid und Wasserstoffperoxid enthält, mit
- Natriummetaboratlauge und wäßriger Wasserstoffperoxidlösung oder
- Natriummetaboratlauge oder
- Borsäure
umsetzt und das Reaktionsprodukte durch Verdampfen von Wasser und Trocknung des Feststoffes gewinnt.
4. Verfahren zur Herstellung von homogenen bordotierten Erdalkaliperoxiden nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man eine wäßrige Lösung oder wäßrige Suspension von Calciumhydroxid und Natriummetaboratlauge mit einer wäßrigen Wasserstoffperoxidlösung umsetzt und das Reaktionsprodukt durch Verdampfen von Wasser und Trocknung des Feststoffes gewinnt .
5. Verfahren zur Herstellung von homogenen bordotierten Erdalkaliperoxiden nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man eine Calciumperoxidsuspension mit Natriummetaborat- lauge und gegebenenfalls mit einer wäßrigen Wasserstoffperoxidlösung oder mit Borsäure versetzt und das homogene bordotierte Calciumperoxid durch Trocknung als Feststoff gewinnt.
6. Verfahren zur Herstellung von homogenen bordotierten Erdalkaliperoxiden nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man eine wäßrige Lösung oder wäßrige Suspension von homogenen Erdalkalimischperoxiden, vorzugsweise Calcium-/Magnesiumperoxiden mit
- Natriummetaboratlauge und wäßriger Wasserstoffperoxidlösung oder
- Natriummetaboratlauge oder
- Borsäure
umsetzt und das Reaktionsprodukt durch Verdampfen von Wasser und Trocknung des Feststoffes gewinnt.
7. Verwendung von homogenen bordotierten Erdalkaliperoxiden als Sauerstoffzufuhrmittel für landwirtschaftliche Zwecke, insbesondere als Bestandteil von Piliermassen für die Saatgutbehandlung, vorzugsweise für die Behandlung von Zuckerrübensaatgut.
