Definitions
- the invention relates to an oven.
- an oven comprising a baking chamber lighting which is switched on or off by a manual operation of a certain manually operable oven element depending on the type of actuation, wherein a control device is provided is, by which the baking chamber lighting is automatically reduced from its full light intensity to a predetermined lower light intensity, which is greater than zero, if after switching on the oven lighting within a predetermined period not again, or a certain other furnace element is manually operated, but full light intensity of the oven lighting is automatically adjusted when that, or a certain other, furnace element is manually operated again.
- the baking chamber of a baking oven is heated by electric radiators or by gas flames and the temperature is measured by sensors.
- the heating elements and the temperature sensor form a control loop.
- the oven lighting contributes to the warming. Lighting devices can have up to 150 W of power or more. In the lower temperature range of the oven at about 30 to 60 ° C, the oven lighting contributes significantly to the heating of the oven. In this temperature range, a precise and fast control of the oven temperature by controlling the oven heating is difficult. To control very low temperatures, it is often better to switch off the oven lighting completely. Depending on the type of appliance, the baking chamber can already be warmed up to over 69 ° C without the oven being heated.
- the oven lighting also influences the heat distribution in the oven. Lamps of the baking chamber lighting arranged laterally in the baking chamber can be very close lie on the food. The heat radiation of the oven lighting can lead to increased browning.
- the baking chamber is used for baking, roasting, grilling, steaming, keeping warm etc. of food.
- the invention enables the problem to be solved, the oven in such a way that even at low temperatures, eg. B. in the range of 30 ° C to 60 ° C, a regulation of the oven temperature by controlling the oven heating is possible without this regulation is disturbed by the temperature of the oven lighting, while the user should be able to Gargut for a observed for a longer period of time by the light of the switched-back oven lighting. Furthermore, uncertainty of the user (user) is to be avoided by "strange" lighting functions such as flickers or clocked light.
- Basis of the invention is that the light in the oven not only completely off and completely off, but is automatically set to a lower light level either after a predetermined period of time and the change in light intensity is not sudden, but continuously, preferably continuously through a dimmer.
- a dimmer device switching off as well as switching on by slowly changing the light intensity.
- Intermediate positions are conceivable, for. B. only a very weak light intensity.
- the change in the light intensity takes place each over a predetermined period of time and preferably continuously.
- Preferred version 1 In any operating mode and at any temperature, the light will automatically turn off after a certain time, e.g. B. after 10 seconds, during which no control element or other furnace element is actuated, dimmed down to a minimum value.
- a certain time e.g. B. after 10 seconds
- the light is automatically for a certain time, eg. B. for 10 seconds, set brighter to its maximum value.
- Preferred version 2 In any operating mode, but only in the critical low temperature range, eg. B. in the range between 30 ° C and 60 ° C, and in certain modes, eg. B. cooking or thawing of food, the oven lighting is shut down to a minimum value. By operating any control element or other furnace element, the light is for a short time, z. B. 10 seconds, raised again to its maximum value.
- Temperature control Not only in the upper, but also in the lower temperature range, the temperature in the oven can be easily controlled by controlling the usual heating elements. The oven is no longer heated above the setpoint.
- the automatic downshifting of the light intensity saves energy and the user can still watch the food with reduced light intensity.
- the user since a dimmer function is installed, the user has time to observe the food first with brighter lighting and then reduced lighting and gets informed by the changing brightness that the oven works as intended.
- Operational safety The fact that the light intensity of the oven lighting is reduced from the greatest strength to a predetermined reduced strength by a dimmer function continuously, preferably steplessly, brought up and preferably also dimmed, the user is aware that behind a conscious process takes place. This gives him the assurance that the oven works as intended. This becomes clear to the user even without an operating manual. This avoids the user interpreting turn-on and turn-off cycles as a malfunction.
- the lamps of the oven lighting have a longer life.
- Fig. 1 shows schematically in cross-section an oven according to the invention with a lamp 2 as lighting in a baking chamber 4.
- the lamp 2 as well as electric heating elements 6 of the oven heating chamber is switched on and off by an electrical or electronic control device 8 in dependence on the manual Operation of manually operable furnace elements, for example, a manual control element 10 for switching on and off of the heating elements 6 and for setting the baking chamber temperature, also a manual control element 12 for setting the baking chamber mode, for example, for bottom heat or top heat or circulating air through a blower 14, and an electrical switch 16 which is actuated by the oven door 20 when it is closed and opened.
- the oven door 20 is thus a "manually operable oven element". It is shown in solid lines in the closed position and in dashed lines in a partially open position.
- the control device 8 is designed such that it automatically reduces the baking chamber illumination 2 from a full light intensity to a predetermined lower light intensity, which is greater than zero, if after its switching on within a predetermined period of time not the, or a certain other, furnace element 10, 12, 16/20 is manually operated, but the full light intensity is automatically reset when that, or some other, of the furnace elements 10, 12, 16/20 is again manually operated, except for the relevant furnace element, in the example shown here the control element 10 for switching on and off the oven heating 6, is brought in this renewed manual operation in an exhibition intended for him to turn off the oven heating 6.
- the baking chamber lighting 2 is automatically switched on whenever one of the furnace elements 10, 12 or 16/20 is actuated, regardless of whether the baking chamber heater 6 is switched on or off at the furnace element or operating element 10. According to another embodiment form, it is possible that the back room lighting 2 by the operating mode control element 12 and the oven door 20 or its switch 16 can not be turned on or off when the oven heater 6 is not turned on the control provided for this purpose 10. This Enumeration does not exclude other embodiments.
- the control device 8 contains a dimmer device 22, by which the light of the baking chamber illumination 6 does not suddenly extinguish when it is switched off or is suddenly reduced to the predetermined low intensity, but automatically, continuously, preferably steplessly, over a predetermined, longer period of time recognizable by a user. is set to become weaker.
- the dimmer device 22 may be formed such that the light of the oven lighting 6 when turning on one of the furnace elements 10, 12, 16/20 each not suddenly reached the full light intensity, but automatically by the dimming device over a predetermined, visually recognizable by a user longer period of time continuously, preferably steplessly, becoming stronger.
- controller 8 may be configured to adjust the predetermined low light intensity only when the temperature in the baking chamber 4 is within a predetermined low temperature range, e.g. B. between 30 ° C and 60 ° C, but not if it is within a predetermined, higher lying, higher temperature range.
- a predetermined low temperature range e.g. B. between 30 ° C and 60 ° C

Description
