  • a fineblanking tool essentially consists of a press plate with a ring spike in which a cutting punch is guided. Opposite the cutting punch is assigned a counterholder or ejector in a cutting plate. A workpiece, for example a metal sheet, is inserted between the press plate and the cutting punch or the cutting plate and counter-holder.
