Definitions
- the present invention relates to a safety shoe with outer metatarsal protection.
- Such safety shoes are provided with a steel toe, the as toe protection or protection for the front Serves foot area.
- a metatarsal protection you have a hard shell made of plastic etc. arranged on the actual shoe and attached to it.
- a hard shell has the disadvantage that kinking the shoe in the midfoot area is impossible. As a result, the wearer of the shoe moves severely disabled, especially working in the knees Condition only possible with difficulty.
- Safety shoes with a padded flap Recesses or steps that act as joints are from DE-U-1 951 029 and from DE-U-1 843 138 known. Padded tabs with air cushions are also known in sports bars, see e.g. FR-A-2 586 342.
- the invention has for its object a safety shoe to create whose outer metatarsal protection at a good protective effect against impact, Impact, etc. the greatest possible freedom of movement of the wearer.
- This object is achieved with a safety shoe solved with outer metatarsal protection in that the Metatarsal protection as flexible, at least two by one flat section running transversely to the longitudinal direction of the foot tab having separate air chamber areas is trained.
- the invention therefore turns from the solution of the prior art the technology in which a rigid, possibly hinged, Metatarsal protection is used, strikes and strikes instead, a flexible metatarsal protection before on the one hand optimal possibilities of movement of the shoe wearer offers and on the other hand sufficient protection against shocks, impacts etc. guaranteed.
- This is according to the invention achieved by using a flexible tab, in which at least two air chamber areas are integrated, which over a flat, acting as a joint section are separated from each other. By arranging it as a hinge acting flat section, the shoe can be without Bend the hindrance through the metatarsal protection so that the Wearer of the shoe can work in a kneeled state.
- the Air chamber areas cause sufficient damping of the Shock and impact loads and ensure a sufficient Protection of the midfoot area underneath.
- the tab has two, flat sections running transversely to the longitudinal direction of the foot, both of which act as joints.
- three air chamber areas are therefore provided, which by the two flat sections are separated.
- Sections running transversely to the longitudinal direction of the foot between Air chamber areas may be provided to increase the degree of flexibility the tab and thus the possibility of movement further to increase.
- the tab preferably has a casing and at least an insert made of flexible material that the Contains air chamber areas and the flat section.
- This Embodiment has the advantage that the metatarsal protection provided made of the same material as the rest Shoe, such as leather, can be made while the actual element providing protection, namely the insert, arranged inside the outer casing and is therefore not recognizable from the outside.
- the casing can be pocket-shaped in which the insert is inserted.
- the attachment of the metatarsal protection, especially the Insert-containing sheathing preferably takes place in Area of toe protection, d. H. the steel cap. Hereby it is ensured that there is between the steel cap and there is no unprotected area around the metatarsal protection.
- the attachment itself is preferably carried out using suitable Rivets, with the attachment conveniently only in the front area the metatarsal protection or the sheathing, in order not to put on and take off the shoe hinder.
- the individual air chamber areas as continuous air chambers can be formed.
- a special one good protection against impacts and shocks is achieved, if the air chamber areas are a variety of individual Air chambers included. With this division of areas A large number of individual air chambers create individual ones small volumes of air, since there is a side evasion with a corresponding impact only limited is possible, overall, to improved stability or strength and thus an increased shock or impact absorption capacity to lead.
- the individual air chambers can separated from each other or over relatively narrow areas be connected.
- the individual air chambers are hemispherical.
- the carrier layer can as a flat film, for example made of rubber, plastic, be formed, of which the particular hemispherical trained air chambers up and down extend. Opposing air chambers can communicate with each other through the carrier film. she can also be separated from each other by the carrier film his.
- a particularly good protection against bumps or blows reached when the tab two arranged one above the other Contains deposits with air chamber areas. Both deposits are preferably not attached to each other, thus relative movable relative to each other, with the arrangement of the deposits a limitation of the lateral displaceability in the casing is specified.
- To the level of the metatarsal protection with good resistance to impact To restrict the air chambers according to the invention one insert so offset to the air chambers of the another insert arranged that the air chambers of both deposits interlock.
- This embodiment has about it also the advantage that - despite the formation of a variety of individual air chambers through air chamber-free Areas are separated from each other - ultimately everyone Point on the surface of the tab through an air chamber is covered because the air chambers in the lower and upper insert overall into a uniform flat Complement the air chamber area.
- This is also preferred on the flat sections arranged between the air chambers to act as a joint.
- the upper insert with the flat, transverse to the foot longitudinal direction provided sections while the lower insert has air chambers over its entire surface having.
- a transverse row of contacts Air chambers of the lower insert each have a flat section the top insert.
- the impact load will be the corresponding one Shock from the relevant transverse row of air chambers caught and steamed the lower insert.
- top of the sheathing of the tab thus forms protruding beads which contain the corresponding air chambers and separated from each other by flat sections are. These beads or air chamber areas are preferred sewn on top of the flap sheath.
- the two-layer embodiment offers the metatarsal protection according to the invention a special high resistance to shock loads, because of the interlocking air chambers of the upper one and lower insert a corresponding stabilizing effect is achieved.
- a corresponding stabilizing effect is achieved.
- with one Impact is caused by a between adjacent chambers achieved composite effect a dodging or a displacement the chambers to the side prevented. This results in the desired increased resistance.
- a strap is preferably provided for tying.
- the safety shoe shown in Figure 1 has one Upper 2 and a sole 1.
- a steel cap 3 In the tip of the shoe is as Toe protection integrated a steel cap 3.
- rivets 5 In the area of Toe protection is with the help of rivets 5 as a metatarsal protection serving tab 4 attached from a outer casing and two contained therein, one above the other arranged deposits. Both deposits show a variety of air chambers.
- the exact structure of the Deposits are shown in the following Figures 2 to 4.
- the upper insert has three areas 6 of air chambers, which by flat, Sections 7 extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the foot from one another are separated. These sections form joints.
- the Sheathing the tab 4 is made of the same material like the rest of the shoe, so that there is a uniform appearance results.
- the tab 4 attached to the shoe with a lacing 8 for lacing.
- FIG. 2 to 4 is the exact structure of the midfoot protection serving tab 4 shown. From the longitudinal section of Figure 3 and the top view of Figure 2 one can remove that the tab 4 has an outer casing 16, which are sewn together in a flat border area is as shown at 17. Are in the casing an upper insert 10 and a lower insert 9, the are arranged one above the other. Both deposits have one flat edge 11 and a central air chamber area.
- the lower insert 9 has an air chamber area which from a multitude of hemispherical air chambers 12 is made up of the level of the insert extend up and down. The corresponding hemispherical air chambers 12 are relatively uniform distributed over the total area of the insert 9.
- the upper Insert 10 is substantially congruent with the lower one Insert 9 formed, but shorter than this and extends only about 2/3 of the area of the lower insert.
- the air chamber area of the upper insert 10 is in four areas 14 divided by flat, transverse to Sections 13 extending from the longitudinal direction of the shoe are separated. These sections 13 act as joints. Also the air chambers 18 of the upper insert 10 are hemispherical trained and extend from the level of the insert up and down.
- the two deposits 9, 10 are placed one on the other in such a way that the hemispherical air chambers protruding downwards the upper insert in between the above Air chambers 12 of the lower insert existing gaps intervention.
- the air chambers protruding downwards 18 of the upper insert therefore border on four protruding air chambers 12 of the lower insert and prevented by this from lateral evasion. On in this way a stable connection of the air chambers is achieved.
- the arrangement of the air chambers is such that each a transverse row of the air chambers protruding upwards lower insert a flat portion 13 of the upper insert contacted so that the flat areas 13 through Air chambers are supported.
- the air chambers of the lower and upper insert are predominant hemispherical. Only in the front area the upper insert 10 are elongated, curved at the edge Air chambers 15 are provided.
- Figure 4 shows the circled detail of Figure 3. It can be seen that an upper and a lower layer of the casing at 17 with each other and with the flat edge 11 of the top and lower insert 10, 9 are sewn. In this way the inserts are fixed in the casing.
- One down protruding hemispherical air chamber 18 of the upper Insert 10 engages between two upwardly projecting hemispherical Air chambers 12 of the lower insert 9.
- Air chamber 18 tries to expand it laterally, is, however, by the adjacent air chambers 12th the lower insert 9 prevented from doing so, so that a stable elastic damping effect results.
